Hey Steve I see ya cut me off for razzin ya on your assbackwards dizzy ;D Well for my in the right place dizzy I ended up buying a marine MSD dizzy from Summit. I like it cause it was cheap, compared to buying a dizzy and a box. Was like 280 or so and is basically plug and play. Have had it for 3 years and never a prob. Just my .02, and a killer job you are doing ;D       Mark

Hey thanks Mark ;)

Yes i did have you in mind when i posted this :D  Plug n play i will have to check that out

Ok scoop is finally completed... would have been done yesturday but a big brown truck stopped by with a present... Thanks Tom ;)

And just like always the UPS guy and i sit there amd BS for awhile.  Really windy yesturday and i had the scoop on my little roll around seat BIG MISTAKE sitting there bullchitting and all i heard was a couple real loud bangs :o

Yes you guessed it , the scoop went down.. Hit the workbench and even bounced of the boat trailer :'(

Sooooo........ It went back to the body shop (my shed) It was alot nicer but its taking up too much of my time  so i patched her up and shot it with some clear coat..

This is a bad pic, it looks pretty good for being tossed around :banghead:

Take it how you will, I just call them like I see them.  Sure seems to me that JBP is "manufacturing" a lot of stuff these days, makes me wonder when they had the time to design, develop, test and adjust then finally market all this new product. As for showing Tom in an unwarranted light, well let's just say that people put themselves in the light you see them in, I see shade.

Truth

Hey Truth set yourself free and get the fuk outa here.....

Yes i am a very happy customer of JBP along with many others.......

What about making it easy on anybody who helps you when your floating with no spark? Going universal is always a better idea.

you have done such an awesome job so far, not cutting corners and doing everything the "right" way! why stop now....wires cheap!

my .02

 Yeah sounds good.....

So when you wire your boat , you can do it politically correct ;)  Checking for spark.   Thats funny.... :D

I dont think  that im "cutting corners" i am just using what i have on hand..( left over from the Bahner :'( ) and since im doing ALL the work myself and if i have a problem and a imaginery friend shows up to help....

i think i can explain what is what in about 45 seconds ;)

I mean WTF does anybody really go by that chart ? i mean if you wire your own boat who cares what color the wires are as long as you know it....RIGHT ???
And i see no reason to make it easier on the next guy >:D

am i gonna break a forbidden law by not going by the color chart........ If so , just call me a cowboy baby :D

My color code bitches......

Oil = black

Water = Blue (temp)

Alt/gauge  = yellow for current ;D

Alt charge wire = red cause it fits with the other red wires on the thingy ma bob :sly:

Ign = green..... Green means go.......

Ballast = orange cause i have alot of it.....

Solenoid to starter.... I dunno , i have not picked that color yet....    Maybe orange , cause i have alot of it ;D

Tach = Grey  because i actually have the right color for it ;)

Battery cables 2 red and 1 BlACK.....Duh!!!!!

Get the picture

this is how  Savage racing wires shit......... easy and quick.......

Any questions O0

Ok so far we have 2 dizzy's that arent stock..

Both have conversions,....

Im talking about a  HEI ignition dizzy  ???

They are really cheap  ;D

1084
How many use the stock electronic dizzy in there ride ?

I currently have a converted points to electronic dizzy with the crane module and rev limiter but im thinking about going stock just to get it running and have less wires and shiat hanging on the engine...

I do plan on an upgrade after i run the boat awhile , but my main concerne is to get it running the easiest way
So how many use the stock stuff

You should be proud of your self Steve Boat looks good.

Thanks  ;)  I really have not had the time to actually sit back and look at what has been done , ive always been busy with her dads boat, my dad and his little needs around the house that he cant do anymore. And then we have my G/F's 4 kids :banghead: and of course her bitchen cause im spending too much time on the boat

Sooooo........ i need some help i think i got it figured out but at the same time i think im confusing myself :sly:
Pic 1 this is my coil and ballast... Do i add the white ign wire to the orange side of the ballast and then to the solenoid and then the other wire of the solenoid back to the other side of the ballast.

This is how ive seen it done before (i think)

The wiring diagrahm for the dizzy....( Thanks Omar ) :-*

I also added another color to the scoop. Im done with it now just some light sanding, a few pin stripes and cear/top coat... And now the V/C's are all cut and ready for breathers......

I want to get this pig wired and started A.S.A.P.

Ok now im getting frustrated with this stupid scoop :banghead: Im no fukin painter and its taking tooooo  loooong...... i still have two more colors to add , but im thinking about doing pin striping between the three colors instead of painting the other colors in :sly:

I dunno.....  I might just take it to the body shop and have them do it up... there was a guy Named doughboy that used to do all the mini trucks/cars here in town and is fuking good... i would love to find him again..

the colors i need to finish it.

and what i have done so far..

I think it looks to plain and needs something else on it besides the colors of the boat.. maybe some stickers ???

Yo B-rad  you still got that sticker maker thingy ma jig :-*  J/K

jrod2u, sounds like you only know 1/2 the story.

From what I have been told, this has been smoothed over between 82daytona and the builder mentioned, so it has been squashed and doesnt sound like you should be getting involved at this point.

thanks for your concern and getting your buddy's back, but please let this go and dont drag it out on my site.

x2

Besides i think everybody here has already figured you out and know who the real poser is :sly:

you want to talk some trash........ take it to the war zone... We will meet you there ;)
