In addition to communicating with the localAir Traffic Control facility, all aircraft in thePersian GulfAOR are required to give the Iranian Air Defense Radar (military) a ten minute 'heads up' if they will be transiting Iranian airspace.

This is a common procedure for commercial aircraft and involves giving them your call sign, transponder code, type aircraft, and points of origin and destination.

A friend of mine just flew with a guy who overheard this conversation on the VHF Guard (emergency) frequency 121.5 MHz while flying fromEurope to Dubai.It's too good not to pass along

The conversation went like this...

Iranian Air Defense Radar:'Unknown aircraft you are in Iranian airspace. Identify yourself.'

Aircraft:'This is a United States aircraft. I am in Iraqi airspace.'

Air Defense Radar:'You are in Iranian airspace. If you do not depart our airspace we will launch interceptor aircraft!'

Aircraft:'This is a United States Marine Corps FA-18 fighter. Send 'emup, I'll wait!'

Air Defense Radar:(no response ... total silence)

I SECOND THAT " SERIOUSLY WTF!!!!!!

MY 2 CENSE...LOL

i saw plenty of them at the chevy dealer  (when i used to work  ha ha )  to get into the newer body styles..you ram something hard into the lock cyl and basically snap off the c-clip mount in the handle, pushing the lock cyl into the door, and then you can use something to lift the prop rod  and unlock the door get in and party....i does take a lot of banging on the column to get access on the newer chevys to start them..unlike the older ones.........
so from what i remember on your ride is you only have one lock cyl in the drivers door .....unfortunatly you have to replace the handle, most likely the lock cyl and have it recoded to match your shit......survey says about 350.oo or so you should be able to buy the handle pre-painted to bolt in..most likely under your deductable too?....if your going to fix it take it to the "dealer" bodyshop and see if they sell a plate called "jimmy jammers" its a plate that bolts behind the handle and lock cyl to stiffen it up.....call me if you have questions bitch....

just a side note...

But hey it would still be faster than Brad's liberty at Lake Ming through the turns (yes poke intended

im not one to fuel the fire heheheheh. ..but if the class cant be filled "legally" close the class for this race and worry about the next race..........cause shit happens it always does...what if something hapens to a rooky driver or a non class "allowed" boat? it could finish the class.....
