ah proppy, what are we going to do with you :o

Dont worry Ralph, There will be NO Cheby powered boats in my future (I like my motors to keep there rods on the inside  :)).  Those mounts would never fit in the Daytona anyway.

Looks like I get the Sanford award this year  :-[ :-[

Hey now Proppy fits. Whoda thunk. ;)
::)  Is that Daytona done yet, again.  ;D

I knew it ;), I was thinking Daytona also, that would be more than a little badass...... >:D

Yea, lots of useful stuff to play with.  >:D >:D

Casale split case V-drive, BBChevy mounts, adjustable cav plate hardware, 2 fiberglass buckets (need covers), etc, etc .  Kinda strange hull though.  It has 4 stringers, glass over wood on the upper half and glass on the bottom (with balsa floors), but it has a long deck (9'2"deck on an 18' hull) so there is only room for 2 seats.  Maybe an old circle boat or ski racer, looks to heavy to be a drag boat  ??? .

BTW , I dont think is a 73 Eliminator, Its way to different from the jet hull in construction. I think its way older that that.

Yea, and this one is set up for a Cheby  :o  :banghead: .  Things are changing around here, 2 prop boats and 2 jets now.   Don'T know if this hull is worth trying to save but there's lots of good stuff in there (can you say V-drive Daytona  ;D ;D )

She turned out real nice. Like I said before, I am glad you saved her from my brother-in-law's driveway. It was bound to sit there forever waiting for him to put it together.

Great job, now lets see some running shots! And for heaven's sakes, don't sell her! She'll treat you right on the water.

Many, many good times in that ride for years and years, now it's your turn.  ;D

Thanks Brian and everyone else,   but its not ready yet.   Started taking it back apart last week.  to finish the floors and polish all the aluminum  :banghead:. And theres still a couple things to figure out / make.

Sell her   :o :o .  Never  (I'm not 2sav) ;D.  I was hoping to have it back together for the November NJBA race in Bakersfield, but now I think that race is canceled.  :-\  .   Would have been a good time/place to do some testing on it (safer than the lake, and lots of help around if I need it  ;)) .

Looks like you have a nice hull there Marlin .   Most of them with a floor like that only have the one center stringer, looks like yours has three (stronger = better).   Is there another floor down there , looks like the bottom is still flat between the outer stringers in the third pic  ???

:'(  I was hoping you wouldn't add the boat to this list  :'(

i have alot of $$, sweat, and tears in this boat and is probably the hardest thing i have to list for sale, but i really want my son to enjoy boats/river/desert/off road with me.

Than don't sell the boat, kids LOVE loud fast obnoxious boats !!!   Worst day of my young life was when dad sold the flatbottom (wood deck, mech injected) and got the daycruiser (green)  .

Just got home.  I think because of the lack of boats on V-drive island the resident gremlins followed the familiar sounds and migrated over to jet beach  :sly: .  Everythingelse was good , nobody sunk, no blows were thrown  ::) , and there were still some running boats at the end of the day  ;D.

Here's a few shots from today (Sunday)

trailer racers  ::)

Hey I got one, just bolt a motor in and go, no project!... ;D

 :-\ I don't think he knows you yet 468Bahner/ 2sav/ Tahiti boy.  ;) ;D

GoFastRacer, That could be a 2yr project for him  ::).  First he would strip the boat replace the stringers change the carpet , redo the seats, buy new gauges, new steering, etc , etc, etc.  Even if the boat doesn't need it, he'll still do it just so he can loose more money when he sells it (still unfinished  ::)>:D  >:D

2sav, let me know when you start parting out that Bahner !!   I got first dibs on the seats (without the covers  :P)
