mine has 157000 miles auto transmission  serviced regularly has never needed more than oil and filter sometimes I think  if you treat them with respect they can last for 500000 miles just like the motor

500000 about right but  automatic trans seems to cause trouble before then also watch ball joints and steering components the heavy engine causes wear

Im about 20 minutes north of Bellingham. There are some lakes in the area not real warm probably by your standards freezing. Subject to wind and still quite busy in the summer they can be lots of fun.Hope to have my boat done by then it might be fun to have a north get together. With or without your boat imsure we could show you the sights

I used a pair of wide mouth vicegrips with a razor cutter blade and held it at an angle and carefully scraped it off worked great just take your time and keep it at a steep angle
