Take the coast guard approved check valve elbows out of the fuel tanks and try that.That or you may have an Eletrical\ignition issue?

Wth? How do you go about finding the angles?First I make sure it's lined up with my jig.
Digital level on the intake, and then where else do you measure for the motor?
I think i also read where you want a little angle in the drive shaft so the crank and pump shaft are not perfectly aligned? Is that right?
I did that and got "0" results. I know it's been discussed before.

Due to the recent drought, all wakeboard or wakesurf boats are banned from the Parker strip while I am here...Also in effect till forever on all areas of the colorado river.

What do you mean by kind of. They are not cheap and a pain in the ass to make required changes.I agree. It's a pain in the ass to make work and expensive. Don't get me wrong, they do there job. But, I've still had mine shut down hard as hell on me with the ratchet. For the extra money I would go with a pop off if possible. They do a much better job of shutting the boat down.

I heard a lot of bad things about hi speed shut downs in a gullwingsHow much power are you planning? Just roll out of the throttle slow. Jmo but the jet a way still doesn't help with shut down. It will help you if the motor shuts off at high speeds. It works....... Kind of. If you want something to help you with shut down you need a pop off.
Does anyone know how much room I need to install a ratchet release.You talking about a jet away? If so. 5 and 3/4 inches

Cant wait to see it on the water!! Sounds like theres gonna be a big showing of the 6th st guys.. So you might have to come up one of the days too !!!
what motor? when i assemble heads i put thread lube onto the bolts and i use permatex sealant on the ones that go into water passages. thread lube helps with getting a proper torque rating on the bolts. before all of that ill also run a thread chaser down just to clean up the threads and remove any old lube/gunk.X2 good answer right here!
i put a SMALL dab of silicone around the water passages for my intake manifold gasket. they usually dont require it if you're using new parts, but older stuff has some pitting usually around the passages and its just a little bit of security against leaks.
I have a 18ft 76' Anthony 455 Olds w/ a Jacuzzi Jet WJ ... my father purchased the boat new from the L.A. Boat show, my question is does anyone have any information regarding this maker?nice ski boat. Splashed of the southwind 18. My dad had one when I was a kid.
