This is the oil pick up

And this is the thick substance in the pan ???


i think now i know why it lost oil pressure so quickly, there was silicon in the pick up aswell . I have not checked the bearings yet , but this will be my builder for my next engine ;D

Well i got a new core for my next build ;D

Hardin Marine 4 bolt main block , 7416 Fordged crank with Dimple rods ;D

Now should i keep the 990's or just use my 049's ???

i think the 049's will do fine kicking some Ford butt :D

Maybe here is the reason for the rebuild, and the only damage i could see other than some rust.


Comes with stock rocker arms............. need these gone to help fund the other engine ;D

First rebuild the engine then sell it and by a bare block.
Next tear the floor out....... then replace
Next dump alot of money in it and sell it really cheap

get a floor mount foot throttle and a forward reverse lever no biggie ;D

I dont care about this clown,  it will eventually come back on him. The Eliminator is legal for 2009 season so after that if it comes down to it , we can find a nice project boat with papers and do a swap ;D

 I just want his boat running and out of my hair :banghead:
