There were really only two that were deep and I ground them down and filled them with mat and resin which should be more than enough. The others were very minor.

There were a few stress cracks on the deck. A couple that I pretty much sanded out and two that I had to repair. I'm gonna cover the whole thing with one layer of 6oz cloth and that will prevent them from coming through again. I was told if you do not do this its pretty much a guarantee they will come back.

Making progress. Got the deck and whole top side roughed up. Going to pick up materials today and should be laying up the glass this weekend.

Went past the point of no return today. Started prepping the top half of the boat for a layer of cloth. I ground down and glassed a couple cracks on the deck beforehand that way everything thing should be solid and the cloth should prevent anything from coming through again.

Got the boat back after getting the bulkhead, forward stringers, and the bilge damn replaced. Everything turned out pretty nice. Now it's time to finally get the new intake set and start working on the keel.

Took her to a fiberglass shop a couple weeks ago to have a new bulkhead/toe board put in, have him finish glassing the knee braces/ gunnel supports and glass in a new bilge dam. Ended up need new wood supports underneath the deck too. Should have it back in a week or two. Might figure out something with paint or just get it all prepped and in white primer for summer. Hopefully ill be able to get a rail kit in her soon and ive heard a lot of you guys say good things about bostick so i think ill be taking the motor to him sometime soon as well. If anyone would like to give me his number please send me a pm unless you dont mind posting it. Ill post some pics of the work when I get it back. I stopped by the shop today and saw he had already had the toe board cut out for it and it looked pretty good so im stoked.

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Re: Fuel Problem???

What kind of ignition coil? Sounds like a coil is dropping.

Might try a spare coil.

Water was my first thought, or a collapsing fuel line on the intake side of the fuel pump.

GT

He's running an msd blaster ss coil.

He's also checking the fuel lines today.

He's running a mechanical fuel pump, not an electric. And we are going to mess with it today so we will see. Gonna probably drain the gas and start fresh there and I'll tell him about the coil.

Electric or mechanical fuel pump?

I think it's electric.

Sounds like water in the gas to me.

I'll tell him to drain the tanks and the lines. He has a separator and he said he changed the filter too but I don't think he did anything else. Thanks jake

My buddy has a 21ft eliminator daytona with a blown 482 bbc that has dual holley 750s. He ran it labor day weekend and it ran perfect. The next time he took it out it ran fine at idle and on the trailer, but as soon as it got on plane it craps out and dies. It will fire right back up and as soon as you get on plane, same thing again. He replaced a bunch of ignition stuff, plugs wires, msd box, cap and rotor, and the battery thinking it was that, but it still does it. Hes not computer savvy and I told him I would see if any of the experts wanted to chime in or if anyone has had this problem before. Thanks Fellas.

I wish I had more to say lol but my wife and I just bought a house, we closed escrow on April 10, so I was pretty wrapped up with that for the last couple months. However I did make it down to B1 last week to pick up my intake, a new full droop, and a bunch. Of diverter parts I had powder coated. I also just picked up those fiberglass buckets and bench. Should be getting on back on track after memorial. Will post some pics soon.

Cocktail style seats in pretty good condition. A little wear on some of the piping as seen in the pictures. Minor stuff here and there but you can definitely get a few more seasons out of this setup.
