Was there a big difference in performance with this set up? Or is it mostly for looks...which I love. I just don't want to lose low and mid range performance

How did the engines run at low to mid range? I know wot they're great. I'm thinking of installing an offy to with 660 carters on a mild 460

What condition are the carbs in? How did she run with it? Tunnel rams look great but I'm not sure about performance at least low to mid range... so I've read anyway

Laguna Beach , Dana Point last fall . Yes impressive I must admit. I guess i don't get out much being stuck here in New York wishing I was somewhere warm to go boating.

Yes I know what you mean but I wasn't there to talk to locals. I was there for the show. Never seen so many multimillion dollar boats in one place. Here's a couple more pics amigos

I've had my Kona for one season and love it. For what it is it handles up to 1 foot chop pretty well.
1/4 stringer with a mild 460 and place diverter

I paid $5000 for mine and that was a really good deal. I think I only saw about 6 for sale here all summer long. One guy had a Carlson for sale for 4500 dollars and wouldn't budge. Total POS you guys would list the trailer for sale with a free boat

Thank you! You guys really are helpful. I guess I have to make some decisions .as with all boats[break out another thousand] do I spend the money or not. I could easily dump 5 grand into it and still have a boat that's worth what I paid for it. I see some pretty sweet rides for 6-10 grand. Problem is they're all out by you guys.  Here in upstate new york it's slim picking for that style boat.

Ok I admit this might be a dumb question but you guys seem like the people to ask.
I have a 77 Kona with I believe1/4 stringers 460 with about 375 hp. I'm going to pull the engine do a little work to it and get 500 hp. The boat speed now is around 60mph. Has a Berkeley with manual place diverter, not sure what bowl
Questions. .
What speeds and horsepower can this boat handle?
Should I and or can I use a engine rail kit with  1/4 stringers?
Is this boat worth it or should I look for something with full stringers
