so you're gonna run a -10 hose and fittings but drop all your NPT fittings down to 3/8"? -10 has an ID of a little more than 1/2". I have all 1/2" fittings... you might as well just save money and do -8 if you're gonna have a bunch of 3/8" bottlenecks. They're all already 3/8 npt... I'm just replacing all the fittings and making them all the same
I will be in yorba Linda tonight and bought a badass 3/8 npt when I did my water lines. PM me you're number I'll let you borrow itThank you so much for the offer! I just got off the phone with a buddy who has one I can borrow, gonna pick it up in a few min

Says 12jb on the plate but I'm deffinitly the least educated person here so if you say its ajc I believe you. This site and the great family of people on it will be your new best friend!! Reading previous posts will help you learn a lot and still not know anything haha From what I understand (reading as many old posts as I can) the bowls are interchangeable so it might have been a JB originally but at some point in the last 44 years it could have been swapped to a JC bowl for whatever reason

Cap what? Are you refering to my lack of gramar skills? Because I'm running heavy equip while I read and post so its kinda hard to proof read. No, reading thru previous posts it's something done to a boat but I'm not really sure what it is... So if someone can explain what capping is and why he (or myself) would need to do it that would be great
Yeah its the bellflower one. Sent a buddy to look at it. He said it was a lil rough and needed a lil tlc but it sounded healthy and offered 1800. Figured I wasn't gonna find another rogers that cheap. With out just calling me stupid can you explain why it was a mistake to buy it? Only other boats I found under 3500 were not even close to what I wanted.Haha... That's his signature that attaches to every post he makes, he wasn't calling you stupid... But that's some funny sh!t right there!! From the pic of the pump it doesn't look like a split bowl but it could just be an optical illusion
I'm new to boats so if you know something I don't about it let me know. But go easy on me I'm super excited and really dontwant my bubble bursted
Pump is a 12 jb it doesn't have a jetavator or a place diveter or anything. Motor appears to be a marine casting full malory ignition setup dual 660s no clue the internals. Was told they were 390hp from the factory in 1970. Hope she will run mid 60s if I can squeeze 67 or 68 out of her ill be the fastest in my group.I'm pretty sure a 12JB is a split bowl, I think it's a JC but I could be wrong
Crazy thought??? I think not! I'm a big supporter. My only concern would be idling at a lake while trying to get out of the no wake zone. Other then that, don't tease is with craziness cause we all love it.You could still hook up an oil cooler with an electric fan to help keep it cool so I don't think that would be a big issue
Enjoying my weekend in Blythe with my family and friendsSweet! If I can get my boat finished we'll be out there in 2 weeks, my buddy has a house right on the water
