these are all of a build that had 2 trips on it
Heads are KA heads with all the oil mods done and complete. 300 obo
Hardin Marine valve covers painted 60 bucks obo
geldnood logs and snails with hoses 150 obo
Edelbrock Torker with all hardware with a Weber 750 fresh rebuild with scoop make offer
also some 700 dollar oil pump I was told by the builder. its blueprinter so he said.
tons of other stuff ill post pics need it all gone.

So crank is shot along with other parts. So now it's time to start a new motor build. So now do I go big block or small block and Ford or Chevy. I know a big block will be easier to sell down the road.
Anyone have a line on either that need rebuilds, run but on the cheap or just the block and crank. Please let me know thanks

Tools are not an issue and time isn't an issue as well. I took the whole motor apart with help from a friend nieghbor and tons on research online and books.everything is numbered or punched bagged and labeled.
So what I'm getting is to forget what I have and start fresh with a 454 block. If so I guess I can get 100 bucks for what I have.

I will never pay someone to build me a motor again I will be doing the build. I have a machine shop to check the crank and block before I start.
I have seen kits for 678 to 2100+ so I will put another 500 or so for a new carb.
I want a relible motor to last another 3 years as I build a new motor (most likely a SBC Stroker) to go into a 19 footer.

I have a buddy who towed a 21 bayloner with a jk no problem just changed gears. Might do the same since I will only tow half the year and camp crawl the other half

So looking around and there are so many options and I'm confused about what I should be looking for. Not sure what brands I should stay away from and what ones are safe bets.
