this is my set up. Just unbolting the u joints and it should slide back enough to run your engine. Hope it's something simple good luckI need to take the cover off but mine is prolly simular
Disconnect the drive line and see if the problem goes away. That will tell you if it's engine or the pump.sounds like an idea... of course that requires pulling the engine right?
