SD, got the coil and mounts. Thanks. We are really close  to getting this baby going now.
OC2V, no worries. We won't need it until we install the alternator anyway.

Thanks again,

Frank

Nah, he just found seats he likes. My guess is he is going to build some over the top, even for Brian motor and kick some serious ass at the TPM next year. Even the knucklehead from this year. Hey Brian, if thats the case, I have a suggestion for you. Velcro on the seats and shorts to keep you in the boat! ;D

The No Wake Zone / Re: I GOT A JOB!!!!!
« on: February 09, 2011, 09:40:32 PM »
So today was my first day. Went well. Tons of stuff to go over by next week; drawings, specs etc. I will be remodeling the gift shop at the Star Tours ride at Disneyland. If all goes well I am hoping to roll into another job we will be starting in a couple months at mouseland. A 6 million dollar restaurant interior with high end millwork etc.
I dodged a bullet by getting put on this job. There was a chance that I could have been sent to Florida or Seattle, Wa for my first job. Glad that didn't happen.

The No Wake Zone / I GOT A JOB!!!!!

After two years of minimal work at ridiculous pay I finally got hooked up with a company I have been trying to get on with for a while. I just sent back their offer letter and background release paperwork. I should be working by the end of the week. Pay is obviously not what I was making a couple of years ago, but It will definitely let us breathe easier and take the pressure of my wife. Thank God that I have a supportive family including my mom, brother and sister who have been incredibly helpful. We have been living on pennies and trying to keep the kids lives as normal as possible. It sucks so bad to have to tell your kids that they cannot have even the most minor pleasure because it costs $5. Especially the girls who are 7 and 8. Thanks to all you guys for the parts help in keeping Bebo's project going.

Nord & OC2V - Thanks guys we really appreciate it. I will let Bebo know when he gets home from his girlfriends house. Nord, Rex is right down the way from our house so that should be an easy fix. I will get the shipping charges back to you guys asap.

Thanks again.

OK guys we are on a mission to get this thing done by spring break. This is the stuff that we still need to complete the motor. We will probably be adding to this list as things come up. Motor is a BBC.

Water inlets and outlet
Crank pulley for alternator
Starter
Blaster 2 Coil
Throttle cable plate
Stringer rail to engine plate blocks

Thanks
Frank

Try oven cleaner. It has worked pretty well on most things we have tried it on. You might have to do it more than once. Make sure to buy the original stuff not the low fume crap.

Sounds good. Let me know if they are open. Got me a little worried about the "under the dash" thing. Especially after seeing the post between Ralphy and Dave with his apron.  :sly:

Bebo's boat is not ready yet. Anybody out there got a bitch seat (Bebo) and adult supervision. Yes I threw my kid under the bus.  ;D I might find a loose adult beverage or two.

Well I think Bebo and I will probably try to make it. Got ??'s though. Can I get to the race area in a car or is it accessible by boat only? Whats the deal with food. Bring a grill; snacks and beer or are there concession stands? I have never been to Elsi.

Brad, floor strippers are the fat ugly ones that they won't let on stage.  :D As for 82's locatation I thought it was LHC but you probably know better. It is not a big item. It probably weighs about 45-50 lbs.
