Hey Chris-
My girl sold last night- brought a tear to my eye to see her go but definatly won't be my last- That weekend was a blast and definatly a trip to see how close our boats were from all aspects-  Think I am going to look for a CP or Pickle-   Thanks to all for the kind words about the boat

Right on-
I got 2 rooms there this weekend well see how it goes- I like that part of the river, but unless you own a home or have an RV of sorts, kind of limited on where you can stay- I was going to get a place in parker at the best western or motel 6 but I figure try someplace different- and you don't have to drive as far- any going to be out there this weekend????

Correct -455 olds-  I am not exactly sure- I think you just bolt them up and run them throught the same as you would logs, and plumb them the same as over Transome headers- You could probably run them dry and have no issue, beings how the tips come out under the water- for a while at least-

I have 1 set of Bassett twisty Heasder in pretty good shape- typical blueing out of heads and rust in usual areas, With lines no T valve- $300 -  Set of Rewarder Through transome headers in decent shape- with lines, no valve- little more rusted- $200,-  Stainless Transome Tips, need new happy flaps $50, Vintage M/T valve covers $25- open to offers on any of the above

I am not sure who Richard Van Beenan is, but the boat next to mine is a buddy of mine.  I do not know the history of his boat, but I know he has owned it for a few years and has completly rebuilt the boat from one end to the other-  Sorry new to the whole scene ???

I have a newer set of bassett's that are in good shape, but the last time I took the boat out if was have some carb issue s and she was spitin a sputterin- any way something splashed up on the heaers and the usual will not get it off- does any body have any tricks to get them chrome again?????
