Boat Racing / Re: SCSC @ Long Beach Aug 8-9
« on: July 20, 2009, 05:41:04 PM »
The Comp Jet Committee has informed the Inboard endurance chairman that we will not be Running any nationals this year. Due to the economy and low boat count we felt that next year would suit the class better.

APBA rules state that the yearly high points races go from november 1 to october 31. The only races left this year is a tentative Lake Ming on sept 26 & 27 or Puddingstone on Oct 10 & 11. I WILL NOT  race at Long Beach . Not because of salt water or the course .

The Entry fee's are $ 300.00 for the weekend + $ 20.00 Endurance fund. I f we elect it to be our Nat'l Finals there is an additional fee of  $ 50.00  per boat to be paid out to the group as prise money.   I need to get some input as to boat count and if we want it to be the Nationals.

talked to the guy yesterday .the boat was nicks (cj222) old hondo .He has an office across the street from me. He said that sea tow told him that if they recovered it it belonged to them as salvage, so at 6am they hooked up to it with a big truck and were able to get it to the beach and on a trailer.

They need to be in before the 28th or you will have to pay an additional  $50.00 late fee.  If you didn't recieve an entry go to APBA or SCSC WEB SITE AND DOWNLOAD IT.Let me know if you are bringing anything other than a Tow Vehicle ( Enclosed Trailers, Etc.)

Hulls / Re: Hull Blue Printing
« on: May 09, 2008, 08:10:51 AM »
I'm having joey cucci do the 222 boat now. it had a bad hook in it so the boat would ride too wet and semi porpoise . it should free the boat up and give it more control. straight edge the rear 4 ft to see if it has a hook in it. if your only using it for pleasure don't worry about it.

another alternative is pro comp # pc-2015 has rev limiter both dial and msd insert, wires identically and is cheaper than MSD and Summitt.  I use them on the 410 & 222 Boats. On line at www.procompelectronics.com
