I believe it's so you can electrically select between the two tanks. It's usually recommended to not run from tanks at the same time.
Yes that's what it's for. I do recommend carrying a spare. They do go out, I've been left floating Down the river because I had no way to switch tanks.

Hulls / Re: Hull repair
« on: May 29, 2014, 10:25:14 AM »
This is they only picture I have the boat is at my dads house in lake havasu.  It's where the molding used to be in the picture its where the white crack is.
If you are worried about that crack around the whole boat, don't be. The deck wont fall off.  that is where somebody attempted to cap your rub rail gap.
The only way to fix this though is to ground out the whole crack and re glass( NOT BODYFILLER) prime and re paint. If i were you i would just slap a rub rail back on.

Stay the F away from flat tappet cams if you want your motor to live.

The great thing about gullwings is that they get up on the hardware really quickly.
Its a proven fact that a tunnel with the same amount of power will out run a gullwing on the big end.

But thats drag racing stuff, a tunnel or a gullwing would make a killer river boat!
