If you do use screws dont use drywall too thin a shank get some big ass # 12 3inch  square drive wood screws take out the existing hinge screws and replace 1 at a time. Then do the same to the striker plate on the lock side. that should prevent kicking the door in since it will butt up against the jam also change the hinges if they are not hte kind with cross pins to prevent removal when the door is shut just my .02 

just got back from an 8 day out of SanDiego crusing ia a blast but drinks are pricey. If you order a refill on your drink you save 2 bucks a piece and beer is cheaper by the bucket.
