ok well thnx for the responses guys.
yeah we know we have some work to do. i believe the title to this forum is Projects. lol. anyways yeah was planning to look over the crack in the hull. the rest of the hull looks good other then some rubs and scratches from beaching and what not.
we were thinking of raising the floor about 6 inches up. and then make the seats about 12 inches after that. it would put the back seats a little higher then the side but can always make the even. looking at doing the seat framing ourselves and find the foam for cushion and upholestry for it and doing that ourselves.
if anyone can see anything that would be helpful and constructive it would be appreciated.
thanks to all for the views and comments.
i will try and keep it updated on any work we do. and like most everyone on this site have more time then money. lol.

yeah i know. that is why i posted pics and was asking for responses. i can do most things myself. my family has been in construction most of our lives. so not much i can`t do as far as wood and such. myself i`m an electrician so wiring will be done by myself for sure. motor and pump will be done by my friend i bought it with. not looking at getting it in the water this yr more then likely. unless we fall into some cash.lol. but we want to make sure it is done right and looks good when done.
so any constructive responses would be welcome.

actually rod  it isn`t a T. those are just stress cracks. the major crack is about 4 inches long.

well it will actually go forward about another two feet. also need to readjust the boards underneath to fit the boat properly. and yeah we are going to look into the cracks first.

actually if you look close it doesn`t have the winch tower on it. the guy took the one that was on there and went to put the original one on and broke the  bolts to put it back on. so we used a tie down strap to secure it until we got home with it. lucky it wasn`t far. about 2 miles to get it home.

yeah i know. we are looking at adding an extra axle to the trailer. it was on a double axle trailer but the guy switched it out for his other boat. and this one went with the boat. had a relative who had to add an axle and it wasn`t that much so going to look into that.

well hell guys.
ya`ll just werent looking close enough. if you really look close you will see all the gold inlay. plus look close at the motor. it is high grade platinum alloy. that stuff don`t come cheap ya know. oh and don`t forget the forever glow gauges. good for day time or night time. but the biggest thing is if you look close enough to the pedal you will see the little button for the invisible mode.
and here i thought all  y`all were the guys for the info. maybe i need to look somewhere else. loll

ok this isn`t the boat itself but it is similiar. especially with the slope of the boat from front to back or back to front, whichever way you want to look, say it.
i am hoping to get pics up here tomorrow on the boat itself.

Hi Guys
i`m hoping to get some pictures on here tomorrow. but not sure. it might not be until tuesday. the stringers seem to be ok. i haven`t really had much time to look it completely over yet.
i dont believe it is a hook. the floor seems to be level all the way through. not sure though. i will try and get some pics up soon.

Hi HotRod
thanks for the welcome.
well i`m not the only one working on it. i bought it with a friend who has an 18' avenger. so i am not going into this completly blind. lol. but yeah this is the one we want. it is big enough to hold 6 or more people i believe. that is why we got it.
and yeah i know we have some work to do. that is why i posted this. after reading through this site i realized the wealth of knowledge on here. so i`m attempting to pick all those brains out there to maybe come up with something that we didn`t think of or knows more about.

Hi All
i have been reading this site now for a few days and just joined. have a couple of questions. first of all does anyone know anything about this boat. second of all it is a project boat, there is no interior and no engine. the boat is 23' long and about 90" wide. it has a cuddy cabin that is about 7' long and about 40" inches tall. needless to say it needs some work. i will try and get some pics up soon. i`m looking for idea`s on where to start. the boat also slopes from front to back or back to front depending on how you look at it.lol. i was thinking about putting a full floor in. i was also thinking of raising the floor up with a grid style support to hold down weight. i want to raise it approx 6". then i was thinking of doing a wrap around seating from the right hand passenger side to the back bench and around to the left hand passenger side. any opinions or comments would be welcome. i plan to put a 460 bbf into it. also it has 2  fiberglass gas tanks on either side. i believe them to be about 30 gallons each. is there a way to know if they are still any good. they look good from the outside and i believe there is still some gas in them. not sure on that though.
any help would be greatly appreciated. i also may have to do  some glass work on the hull. there is a small crack on the bottom of the hull and also a corresponding crack on the floor. not sure how much trouble this will be to correct. again will try and get some pics up soon. as i know you will need to see pics of the cracks.
don`t have a lot of money so will be doing most of the work ourselves. any spare parts that you would be willing to get rid of would be welcome. thanks for reading. jim
