What a bummer... Such a shame when accidents like this happen. Especially when another boater/racer was involved in the collision and had no fault...

What a blessing that they caught it and got little Valerie out in time, for both her and your wife's sake! Be positive, she will be fine. Shes just got some catching up to do since shes early. If this is your first kid youll learn, the worry never goes away, youre just blinded by their beauty. I wish the best for your family bro. My prayers are with you and good luck!

My brother want the pedal.  Does the cable come with? If so what kind of shape is it in, and how much to ship to 93551?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using SoCal Jet Boats mobile app

Yeah i  can throw in the cable. It could use some lube but is in descent shape. I just had a pedal shipped to me and it was 20 bucks so i could do 60 bucks shipped

164
Got mine back from Embee about a week ago. Was 250 plus tax

I think you would be okay as a mechanic as most of the ones ive seen drive the big f750's.  If you wanted to be a fueler/oiler that would be a different story as you would need a cdl with hazmat.

this job is perfect for me! I have my associates in diesel power technology and im an honorable veteran! thanks for the info...  ;D

riverrat i hope you already grabbed an app because they stopped giving them out last wednesday. Sorry if you missed out. They wont give apps out again for another 2 years.

I am a local 12 operating engineer and work for sukut and make a pretty decent living .remember for the guys trying to get in its not just a job playing on a sitting on tractors .work can be tough mentally and physically.

And what keith is saying is true, it is a very cut throat industry and you have to make your own way. Nothing will be handed to you. I have worked for Security Paving and currently work for Las Vegas Paving and have found my place there. Good luck guys.

price adjustment! 65 for bell housing and front mount and 45 for the pedal. sale pending on the headers

You get what you pay for you said next to nothing

Sent from my iPhone using SoCalJetBoats

Exactly... Nothing good is cheap. And nothing cheap is good... Even more so with boats. The cheaper you get a hull the more work and money you're going to have to put into it to make it nice. You're pretty much going to have to scratch up a grand to 1500 to come up with anything remotely descent and even then you better look over it with a fine tooth comb. But seriously don't expect any show pieces for a good deal...

Thanks guys, and it's definitely getting a rail kit. I  just picked up a nice flywheel cover and then I'll have to get some motor plates built. Still a little ways away from that though haha!

Got a few updates. Picked up my headers from Embee and they look amazing, they did a great job. Price was 250 plus tax so 270 even out the door! And while i was down in the area i picked up a round keel berkeley intake from sam(19ftcheyenne) and took it over to B1racing to have it machined for a shoe and ride plate and one shim to start. I also talked to chris and im probably gonna have him order me a new droop snoot. Since i posted last i picked up a weiand team g intake, some scorpion roller rockers and im also gonna put in a new cam. Ill post up specs when i know what im gonna go with. Then whenever i have time ive been doing alot of glasswork but im finally moving forward instead of removing someone elses shotty ass work. Oh and i also picked up a nice trimetric stringer mount pedal from a guy off of the other boat site but waiting for that to come in the mail.
