The No Wake Zone / dumped a boat with no paper work
« on: August 02, 2014, 04:31:03 PM »
OK I went to El sobrante landfill in corona. Had the boat and went to the in laws new rental pproperty and picked up all the old a planesand trash that the old owners left there.i got to the dump and told them "this boat was dumped in front of my house in the middle of the night.so I called the county waste management office and they told me I could take it there."all made up , but they bought it . $27 to dump the hull and a bunch of trash. Who really has time to go to the dmv and do paper work and who wants to give them more money.

I fully understand what you are saying .I know how seasonal work goes , I worked heating and a/c for several summers .with that being said I have also been reading  about being a business owner for years and know several small and successfull business.one thing I have learned no matter how stressed ,frustrated or what ever, customer service is number one.everyone is a potential customer.

Anyone else ever had a bad customer service experience with them ? I was in the area and stopped by to ask for a quick quote to cut my intake in and set it after I got it machined for a shoe and ride plate.i don't know the guys name that I spoke to but was blonde haired guy.now I don't know if it was because it was hot and the guy was frustrated with what he was working on, but as I asked him he spoke to me like I was was stupid for wanting to do a set back ..also as I'm standing there he practically ignored me and keep drilling on the boat .if he was busy and frustrated with what he was doing just tell me and I would come back .I know he or others from gs marine will read this or word will back to them and what  would have been a potential customer will now search elsewhere or figure out how to do it myself.the quote was $500-700 to cut the intake and set it.

I clicked on the 3 little boxes next to the video on you tube and hit share. Copied it to me clipboard and then hit paste on here. I'm using a galaxy note 2 , may be different for other things.

Jet Pumps / ride plate or shoe and ride plate?
« on: July 15, 2014, 09:28:44 PM »
OK so I am going from panther to Berkley I have go my boat hole glassed back in and now I'm thinking of the next step and trim to figure out what to do. I want to set my pump and engine back 5-6 inches (hand hole outside the transom).well now I'm thinking about my Berkley intake since it is out having it machined .can I do just a ride plate or does it need to be a shoe / ride plate combo? The boat will have a fresh 460 with mild mods . I'm building a family boat but want it to have some nice quick pass capabilities.also can I get some shop recommendations in the Riverside/orange county areas ?oh , it'sa delta pad bottom .

I remember a couple years ago someone continuously flagged this guy's post for the same type of bullshit.he then started saying he was going to sue for harassment and that he was running a legit business and making bread crumbs to feed his mentally handicapped daughter. He try to rape people. I wanted a set of 460 valve cover and he wAntes 400 dollars for them.

Well I got a lot done last weekend on the boat and was really hoping to finish it today .but things always have to go wrong for me .I swear I have some of the worst luck.yesterday I step off something and kind of twisted my waist and when I did my back popped and I couldn't breath .so I came home and laid on the floor for hours, when I finally stood up and looked in the mirror While trying to  stand straight out noticed my torso leans completely to one side.well no working on the boat this weekend.
