There is a drain plug on the radiator. Probably just messed up. Question,  is it a factory or aftermarket radiator?

Well a couple updates.

My seats are on their way from canada. I cleaned out the inside to get ready for a new rail kit. I picked up a rear bench today.
those seats are sick! Did you have fastforward lay those up? Believe his name is rob. If so, I have one of his scoops on my Sanger. And if the seats are anything like my scoop you will be thrilled with them.

The No Wake Zone / Is there a Dr. in the house?
« on: November 25, 2012, 09:08:38 AM »
It's normal. Like said you have a bunch of muscles in your shoulder that strain easily, and adding the broken ribs compounds the problem. My boss just went trough this about 4 months ago on his road bike (pedals). I have also broken ribs and it takes forever to heal. Heal up quick, boating season is only around the corner

The people, hands down. I enjoy reading the build threads and all topics of discussion. Also like the fact that if I/you have a question about an issue with your boat, be it mechanical or fiberglass/hull wise someone here will be able to answer your question or point in a direction to get you squared away.

I don't have a truck for sale, but you should have no problem finding a late 90's silverado for the price you want to pay.

Squirt some marvel mystery oil in the cylinders, change the oil and prime the system, turn the crank a few times and prime it again, put good plugs in and fire it up.

As far as the tanks, suck all the bad gas out and peak in there with a light....if it looks nasty, dump a bunch of steel nuts and bolts in the tanks, add 2 or so gallons of fresh gas, then tow it down a washboard dirt road for 30 minutes.  Use a magnet on a flexy stick to get all the bolts out then suck out the gas again.  This is as clean as you'll get 'em without pulling them.

This but instead of using gas to clean the tanks I would use diesel fuel, I do this with old gas tanks in customer cars. Seams to clean a little better than gas

Depending on how crazy you are going to get with the flake, you will have to drill out the tip in your spray gun nozle( just buy a cheapo HF gun a ruin it) and it will take a ton of clear. I say give it a shot Flake is bitchin

The No Wake Zone / Air Locking the pump
« on: October 25, 2012, 10:10:50 AM »
Mine air locks every time. I found that dunking the boat once or twice normally helps things along. I also dunk it after a long tow, to get all the road junk out of the intake. Also as Brad said, be patient it does clear itself.

Actually, no.  I got side tracked with a different boat for the summer, and now I'm trying to decide wether to work on this one or the other project I picked up recently for next summer.

Lol well good luck with the decision. If you choose the new project hopefully it isn't as tweaked as this one was.
