I'm sitting in bumper to bumper traffic on the 91, figured this could be a cool topic since anyone that lives in California deals with traffic almost on a daily basis.... Today I would like to focus on What middle school and high school kids should learn to better their lives instead of bullshit classes like ceramics, drafting, art, computer and drama. They should teach gun control, taxes, sex Ed real sex Ed not some bullshit, self defense, resume writing, interview classes, money management, basic citizens rights, healthcare since it's the law now stupid ass Obama , purchasing cars and homes, applying for college and college loans. Just a little traffic discussion to pass time. Feel free to argue or agree 👍🏻

First off, I do agree that there does need to be more "life skills" classes offered in our public school systems. But 3/4 of kids today don't even care enough to pay attention to what is going on in the classroom.
2 problems, students think cellphones/social media is more of a priority and are constantly on them in the classroom. Secondly, now that "Joe" didn't care and isn't doing well in school who does the parents blame. Not the kid who dosnt care, shows up late and is constantly on there phone. The parent blames the teacher who is under payed, under funded, and has a over crowded class room.
Now, next time you want to go calling art and ceramics bullshit classes you should think about what you are saying. 90% of students that take these classes are the kids that are better off and trying to prepare themselves for college, Because? They are college requirements !!!!!!!Good arts teacher actually integrate a ton of life skills into their curriculum like resume writing, cost, and selling.
How would I know, Ive been a ceramic arts teacher for six years now. Now I do agree common common core is a crock of shit, I do think ceramics and other arts are essential to give these kids a creative out.
Sincerely a bullshit ceramics teacher
