The No Wake Zone / Re: How much to tip?
« on: February 28, 2010, 04:58:00 PM »
I know here they pay a tip compliance wether or not they make the tips they are paying for them..

Sometimes the waitstaffs actually pay to go to work when its slow...

With that in mind i tip fair " i think " and if service is good i tip well ;)

Attitude means alot in my wallet, so you better make me smile for that tip >:D

My buddy works at Checkers, might be able to get a good deal, I think normally there around 1k for a long block.

I also have some SBC parts I'm kicking around, fresh bored block, one good head.... but if you're interested in possibly building one for cheap give me a call

yes i am interested in the  block, not sure if it is the same as i have now but im seriously thinking of changing this thing over to a nice carb motor and delete all this electronics ;D

just watched another c1500 with a 383 on youtube, did this rolling burnout was just sick :sly:

Can't decide if this is cool or not.   Makes me think that 2Sav could probably convert the sub without too much work  . . .

Its stupid......

if you have to be stuck in a capsule and cant even get a buck out of it.... Its just stupid.....

leave my sub out of it, its just like my boat.....

it don't exist :sly:

Anyone got any ideas to mount the alternator? The one im using is a new/reman 3 wire alt. I dont have the sliding bracket that was originaly with the motor plates  :banghead: The pivot tab on the alt does NOT reach the hole on in the engine plate. This is where I need it to go

Dont know if this will help or not , but its how i did mine. Tom will hook you up with the adjuster if needed.

Boats looking great bro ;)

I've sprayed a bunch of different headers with the VHT stuff... even the "ceramic" look ended up really nice and last for a long time, everyone asked me where I got the headers coated  :sly: I just scotchbrited the headers and cleaned them well

If i do it i need to blast them.....
take a look.

Well i did some more looking and at this price i should just buy a new set already coated.

Jet hot coating is probably your best route. That's how I did mine. Dry exhaust xr1 drag with mufflers. Think I paid around 200$. They came out great, nice and chiny ;)

the quote i got was $305 for the cast gray and about $195 for the sterling :sly:

Embee said $150  ;D
