Or at least its A good reason to buy your own smokes and not be a bum.  ::)

I'm no expert on these Cheby things but I think the cam itself can be another variable .   If I remember right some of the big cams are ground with a different base circle (smaller) than stock  :-\

Nice to see you today Skip and family, oh yea and you to Brad.   I got home fine and the little guy is doing great so far.  He was verry tired from the car ride and has been sleeping alot (I'm sure he will be awake all night  :banghead:)  He didnt like the idea of the crate  ::) so he just sprawled out acrost the back seat all the way home.
Home safe and playing with his new toy.

Jet Pumps / Re: I Need Baffles
« on: May 03, 2008, 05:55:07 PM »
Ohhhhhhhh yeah ! The corkscrew type are very restrictive . The type that CP and most have is a straight through design with the louvered baffle . I"ve been told that there is no RPM or HP loss with the louvered muffs .

-beerjet-

Thanks Mr Beerjet sr .  That would explain the extra rpm I found when thay came out  ;D ,  I guess thats one more thing to add to my list of parts needed.  :banghead:

Just a question here, I have some baffles that dont look like that (see pic) .  Are the ones that CP Performance showed better (more flow) than what I have ?

Take one of the omars rooms at the bluewater, they have a marina where you can leave the boat in the water overnight(I think its $15/day), Someone was saying that they have a security guard patrolling the marina all day/night.
Just so there is no confusion, Omars rooms are at the "Bridge Inn" .  ;)  see page one http://www.socaljetboats.com/index.php?topic=2303.msg30744#msg30744

Well look who came to visit  ;D.   Whats up Brian ?  Do you miss your old baby ?   Sorry but the red/orange/yellow strips are gone now  ;).  And trust me you should have removed all this old glue and extra resin along time ago (it would have been faster  >:D) .   I dont know what this thing weighs but it is alot lighter than my old boat , I noticed today that it wasnt quite centered on the trailer .  So I just grabed it by the opening in the transome for the pump and picked it up and moved it  :o

Btw, Brian do you have any old pics of it back when you ran it ?

Yea I know ,  but sometimes I get something in my head and just cant give-up on the idea  ( wood floors ) .  I just hate the dirty oily carpet in my old boat !!!  And the wood is sooooo pretty.  Someone told me it would be easyer to add a wood vaneer (sp) over the old stuff and that sounds like a better solution for this ??  What do you guys think ?   It looks like to be able to show whats there I would have to strip off all the old glass and reglass the whole floor and stringers (not going to happen).

I now know this thing will not make the Parker trip  :banghead:, but I only want to do this once .  I still have the Daytona to do next winter, so its now or never for these floors  :screwy:

I've had carpet, carpet with GM engine's.  :banghead:  Oil will weaken and stain carpet.
Yea,  Ford oil does the same thing .   :sly:
The black (paint? flowcoat?) floor in mt boat gets hotter than a Tijuana hooker's kooch after years with the drips.  >:(

Maybe if you ever put your boat in the water it wont be so hot  ::),  just a thought .  ;D ;D
