Rod, they have a trim button so the motor will lift up. SO that doesnt happen. you need to find the button!

v-drives are truly amazing machines. I finally got to drive one and was only impressed by everything about it. The only thing I didn't like about the drive was how "floppy" the hull felt and looked but I am sure that is directly related to the hull's lay-up itself and not the fact that it's a v-drive. The boat I drove is a flatbottom and handled wakes extremely well, turns on a dime, acceleration is closer to how a car feels than how a jet drive feels, a lot less load on the engine than a jet drive, and was able to cruise the boat on a plain easily at 2500 RPM. I am now 51% sure the Rogers will go bye bye and I'll get a v-drive instead.

BTW, if anyone knows how to post crappy video's that play on window's media player please let me know.

Buy a flat and lets go to Havasi and see what that flat can do.hahaha  Now go ride in a tunnel and see what it can handle.  (waves + flatbottom =  pain in your ass) You better stay with your bayliner.
