Ok, so I started installing loader today.  Got old one out easy. Bored out mount holes and drilled all the way through. Started tapping for new threads.  First hole perfect. Next two,  no problem. Last hole, tap breaks! Inside hole! Try drilling tap. Ain't happening. Strategically drill 1/8" holes around tap figuring that half the hole is salvageable and it's going all the way through and getting a nut. One side done. Almost done drilling opposite side and drill bit breaks! WTF!!! D*#m F+@k Sh%! Son of a motherless goat!!! Yeah,  that's how my day is going. To top it off, I'm working on boat in the gravel next to the house using a Mexicali creeper! Taking a break. Going to get a cobalt bit tomorrow and fix this shiznit.

After wet sanding with 500, I rinsed it down and shot a couple of pics of it wet so I could see what it will look like with clear. I have a couple of places that need to be sanded a little deeper and then it's back to my buddy's shop to try again. This time, the shop will be clear and we can shoot it indoors. I also found out we were running too much air pressure, had real bad orange peel effect. His compressor regulator is set at 110psi!!!  I've got a small pressure regulator that mounts to the gun and I will dial it down the 40psi this time.

My first ticket as a teenager was bicycling northbound on the south bound sidewalk. Nice huh? Bicycling on the wrong side of the street lol. The one that totally pisses me off was New Years Eve 2003, I was coming home on Interstate 8 from Yuma to El Centro about 8 pm. As I'm crossing the Colorado River, some moron flies by at 90+ and almost sideswipes me. I see him again in the long line at the CA agriculture checkpoint and I get through before him. As we're passing Felicity, I see him coming again (he had those blue tint halogen lights) so I stay behind a truck that I was about to pass. After he goes by, I see a CHP flip around so I do the Nelson "Ha Ha" from the Simpsons and low and behold the CHP pulls me over. I immediately tell him that he got the wrong vehicle and notify him that I have my duty weapon with me. He proceeds to write me up for 93! Didn't want to hear me at all. Knowing what I know now, I should have fought it. They weren't supposed to use Laser at night back then. Oh well, live and learn. My buddy and I were coming home from work on the same stretch several years later and the same officer pulls him over. We were in uniform and he wrote my buddy for 75 (70 zone)!!! Most CHP I've met are pretty fair even write you up for 75 when you were doing 80 (which is more than $100 difference on the ticket), but that one was a total A Hole! I met someone the other day that went to HS with him and said he was an A hole in school too.

Congrats bro, being a Dad is the greatest. It can also be scary! (Our youngest is a Marine in the Persian gulf right now)  I have one and my wife has five (all are grown now) and it's lots of fun. Being grandpa is even better (because you get to send them home loaded up on candy and mountain dew  ) We have 11 grandkids and only 3 oldest kids have children so far!
