What power is in it?

Sent from my SM-G930T using SoCal Jet Boats mobile app

Its just got the basic 330 HP carbureted 454 by Indmar. She will do about 60 with some pedal left in it. Ive never maxed it out before, shes just a cruiser lol. Indmar doesn't recommend going over 4800 rpm so....... ive taken it to about that and did 60 but........ there was quite a bit more pedal left lol.

They charged me for the first night when I made the reservation, they've been doing it for the past few trips we have made there

Sent from my garage drinking an ice cold silver bullet!

Same here, the last 3 times we have stayed there they charge 1 night when I book and then the rest when I check in.

Yeah they are nice, but love the ride and room of an open bow, so I just had a blower motor built for mine. Haha best of both worlds

Nice!!!! I considered that too.

Yeah , thanks man. I love this boat,  I really do, just miss having an old hot rod, loud, obnoxious, headers to burn myself on, no room, always working on it....... just something about it lol.

After much thought and talking, the wife and I have decided a bigger boat isn't what we wanted after all. Looking to sell or trade our 2004 Shockwave 21 Skier. All original, only 140 hours in very good condition. Indmar 454 with a dominator pump and hydraulic diverter. Stereo system, in floor ski locker and ice chest, dual batteries on switch. Beautiful boat, just not for us like we thought it would be. Asking $22k or trade for smaller jet boat + cash. Not looking for a 20k jet boat though lol, maybe something around 10 to 12k, a little high performance but not a damn race boat. Pm me if you have questions, anyone who has met us can vouch for how clean this boat is. Not it in any hurry to sell. Interested in a 18' or 19', bubble deck or winger, must be a chevy with a berk/dominator/amer.turbine pump.

We will be there early Friday morning !!!!!!!!!

If you are looking for a good non-synthetic, with plenty of zinc in it, I just started running the XP4 15-50 by Joe Gibbs. It was recommended to me by James Bostick so................ I didn't hesitate to buy it. Got a case of it for $100 on Amazon and I got it the next day.

The No Wake Zone / Re: Anchoring on the river
« on: March 23, 2017, 08:00:11 AM »
The water there is low in the morning and starts getting to a decent depth by 11-12. Peaking around 3. Depending on how early you anchor it will depend on how much you might need to move it. Also I highly recommend not leaving it in the water overnight.

ALMOST made this mistake lol. Rented a house about 10 houses up from Lazy Harrys, thought about leaving the boat in the water (my first time at the river), last minute decided to pull it out. The dock was sitting in the mud when I got up and the water was about fifteen feet out from there.

Bostick will probably be along later to answer some of your questions. He would know better than anyone. Good luck with your build.

If you must have a cooler with sounds, look into getting the Coolest Cooler. It has Bluetooth, a usb charger to charge your phone, and a blender built into the lid.

Lowes or home depot.

Sent from my SM-G930P using SoCal Jet Boats mobile app

X2 on this. I did my boat with the gray indoor/outdoor from Home Depot, but when we did my buddies boat and we got it from Lowes, it seemed much better quality. It also had a rubberized backing and it stuck to the floor of the boat much better and we just used the Heavy Duty 3M spray adhesive. Been on there 3 years now with no lifting or separating.

Would you happen to already have a hole for your ski pole? That way your not drilling a new one. Just a thought

Sent from my iPhone using SoCal Jet Boats

No, I have a transom mounted ski hook. This is why I have not done anything yet, I just can bring myself to put holes in my boat just yet lol

BOOM, Ive got it lol, I could drill a small hole in the engine hatch, make a bracket like you said on the bell housing, but have the bracket and the bottom of the pole be threaded, just screw that bitch in !

Right on, never a bad thing flying the colors man, loud and proud. I have a buddy that mounted a bracket to the back of his hull, but not sure if you want to drill holes in it you know? You could always make a bracket off the back of the motor or bell housing area, and drill a hole in the engine hatch, and make a plug that is removable for when you transport the boat on the trailer. Hard to explain in words but have some ideas in my head on how to do it lol

Teamwindle 🇺🇸

So I thought the same thing, putting something in the engine bay and a hole in the hatch but then I thought about it, if I slide the pole into the hole and into the bracket / holder, I cant secure it with like a locking bolt or a pin without having the hatch open, and in order to open the hatch with it in place, the hole in the hatch would have to be pretty big, not sure if you get what im saying. Would probably have to be a long "slot" rather than a hole so it can open with the pole in place.

This is what I did, hasn't failed me yet

Sent from my iPhone using SoCal Jet Boats

Ive been trying to come up with something for the Shockwave but the engine is covered. I made a bad ass pole for my buddys pontoon that quick disconnects and he flys a big ass jolly roger and an old glory. I put American flags on everything just like you do lol. Just haven't figured out anything yet without drilling holes into my hull.

I just think it's not solving the problem when people who rent boats and skis don't have to do anything it just hurts the responsible people

Yeah unfortunately its not about solving the problem, its about the money. Exempting renters makes this obvious.
