The No Wake Zone / Re: 100mph CL boat! LOL
« on: August 05, 2015, 05:34:32 PM »
This thing will maybe hit 55 going down river with a 30mph tail wind. Every person that post on CL think there 45 mph jet does at least 90, maybe this guy runs 50/50 mix of 117 and AV gas with a dash of alcohol.

Gelcoat / Paint / Fireberglass Repair / Re: How to remove this paint
« on: August 02, 2015, 09:57:16 PM »
Fiberglass paint stripper you paint it on and let it sit for about 5 min then you scrape it off. Do small sections. It will remove the paint down to gel coat. I did my boat this was and it didn't damage the original gel coat.

« on: July 27, 2015, 08:14:07 PM »
Sooooo my buddy just called me and wants to sell me his placecraft t-deck dragster hull no motor.  So I am throwing the idea around to sell my Hallett bubble deck for 5k obo. He wants 5k for his hull. Brand new built BBC I have 5k just in my motor but he has fallen on hard times. I will even through in New stainless polished tanks that I paid 850 for. You guys seen the boat on the wrap post but here are more pics.

You and us both. Had the motorhome done. It looks okay but lots of quality issues. They more or less told us to pound sand

I would go down there and pound sand in his ass. Then make him fix the issue with a itchy ass..

Looks great and especially for that price with the warranty you can't beat that.

That's what I figured. Warranty runs out I change color. Warranty starts all over again.

Looks good, and if you're happy with it that is all that matters.

If anyone in the Inland Empire is interested in a wrap for their boat I've got a friend that also does some awesome work.  PM for details (I don't want to hi-jack this thread too much)  ;)

Your not HI-Jacking, you are just simply telling the jet boat community. Close to the I.E where they can take there boats. I wouldnt want to have to drive all the way from like San Berdoo to S.M just to get boat wrapped.

Ours is wraped by gatorwraps in Ontario. I would never use them again. Bad costumer reps and I was not happy with the quality. 👎👎👎👎

Yaaaaaa me and bad reps don't mix. They all seem to think I'm a asshole, shit their right. I just don't like get beaten around the Bush. These guys are two locals that wanted to try something different in the town. Seemed to work for them, they are really busy.

So it's the pink (looks like pink)....and charcoal or black?
Does look nice. Proly better in person too.

It's hot pink metallic and charcoal grey metallic. Looks super good and way brighter in person. They are going to do my boat trailer next.

Looks pretty good.
Did he say how long he thinks it will last?
Are you happy with it?

He said it should last for as long as I want it too, it comes with a 1 year warranty for anything. Fading, chips, scratches, lifting you name it it's covered. Yes I do like it. It looks 20 times better in person.

The pump is how I bought it, didn't touch it yet. The guy I bought it from had a big ci Ford stroker in it.  A couple hundred HP less then what I have.

Nothing except it's a jc with hardened shaft and impeller but I don't have a place diverter on it yet I need to set the pump back more it's only set back like 3 inches. Just feel like I need to do more to it to handle all the power and to process that much water    ..

Well I get my boat back from wrap shop Monday and seats back Tuesday. I will put the boat in the water Saturday and see what it will run as is.

. I would say no hallett's race with us now. Wingers, tunnel dragsters and a sprint. That's been the just of it so far. It would be good to see more guy's give it a go. We need to get a gate keeper so the bar will be set.

Well as soon as I figure out my pump and get one put together, will see what a 1000hp Hallett can do. I am shooting for low to mid 90's. My Hallett is 800 pounds dry then another 600 pound's in motor so I don't think it's far fetched. Not with just about 1050hp on the bottle.
