So do you just silicon around the pump and the back plate? If not how do you keep the H2O out?I havn't finished puttin the rest of the duct tape on yet
...11mm diameter to fit snuggly in Place Diverter and Berkeley cable grommets unlike the 9mm diameter Teleflex cables....I don't know about these guys but the boats we work on don't use the metric system
I rarely have a problem getting the forward/reverse packing to seal on Teleflex when using a new replacement seal, but we've devised a new seal assembly to eliminate the awkward OE assembly (much easier to install), I'm gonna make some more tomorrow I'll see if I can get a pic up (they look cool too). As far as getting the PD cable seal to seal with a Teleflex, It's usually as simple as repacing the rubber grommet with the seal you would use on the OE f/r packer, works like a charm (the rounded flange makes the edges of the gromet pinch in). I made a 33c cable seal through a PD seal doing that the other day

Depending on how the boat handles it could raise the boat out of the water too much.Good call, if ya get these circle boats too loose, you may end up doing circles in a corner

I have my original ID tag ,I think its #130 I'll check later when I go in TomI just looked at yours and it says A80, maybe its a production number seeing as they supposedly made less than 20 of that model a year.
good job jbperf...to hell with the miller, what kind of numbers does that blue boat run, looks sweet....Like my dad said, i put the GPS on it and with four adults and one toddler it went 57.4, I'm happy
original Berkeley packajet 460, fresh pump and diverter in the middle. Puttin the diverter up for the roost was like pushing the clutch in part way on a stickshift.

. Alot of times when you see inspection cover in the middle of the plate, its because the installer didn't want to cut through the bottom corner of the transom on the set back,(or because that particular boat like the intake in that particular spot).

Josh, What determines when you can or can not get away with a mechanical fuel pump? I'd love to use one but since this boat has/had an electric on it I just figured there was a reason for it. It would be one less electrical problem waiting to happen. Gas and sparks don't get along very well together. GregIf you got a fuel pump eccentric and a boss to mount it, go for it (or in chevys case a pushrod). On my ford, when it was first put together I couldnt install an eccentric properly because of the geardrive, then when i rebuilt it the two piece eccentric i had didn't fit the billet upper gear of the timing chain set either. Guess it was never ment to be.

My holley blue has no problem keeping up 7 psi to two holley 750's. I have a fuel pressure gauge on the fuel rail , and it never moves off 7 psi while the key is on. I must have lucked out and got a good one.I was talking red, no one brought it up yet so I throught it into the mix, I've had good luck with blues also.
. This is the aluminum three bow, its way to damn tall and i was gonna chop it down but i kinda like standin up under it. 
Ya got that right. I even once got a Holley carb that no matter what I did there was always a vacuum leak and come to find out, there was a small void in the casting of the body that was sucking air. I've been leery of Holley carbs ever since. Just one of those things I guess.If nothing else Holley did a great job at paving the way for all the great aftermarket carbs. I'm runnin a Holley Black electric fuel pump with a Mallory by-pass regulator, works great. And thought they claim 7 psi I've tired many red pumps that barely put out 5.5, dont waste you money on those unless you got a quadrajet or weber. There are far better pumps out there but be prepared to pay. I would however use a mechanical fuel pump when ever I could get away with it .02 -Josh
