Yep , checked them out to but the VHT has a higher temp rating. Not sure if headers will even reach 1000 degrees on a stock SBC

Anybody ever use VHT or DEI paint for headers ?
Got a set of shortys coming today that im installing but i bought them used and are a bit rusty. thought maybe i could just blast em and paint . My other option is to send them to Embee or Jet Hot but that would be another week before i could get em back on my truck.
So any input, or just suck it up and send em off.........

ok i got to say something on this one,
if you wear rubber boots and velcro gloves, you put their two back legs in each boot and then you hang on with the velcro gloves just in case their legs get out , that way thats double insurance they cant get away..
Vegas and a milkman with rubber boots and velcro gloves..
