How in the hell can that be the championship when all you did was BARELY pass the qualification round!? That is...until you ran out of gas!

4 gallons gone in about 1/2 an hour...

I qualified 7 times already...AND with much better fuel economy!!! Let's see your FORD beat that!

Aint it funny how when thay cant compete with the incredible horsepower of the BBF that start talking about fuel economy !!

You qualiflied 7 times already ?   Last place is not qualifieing, and breaking your pump in half does not get you a chanpionship !  Now be a good little boy and bow down to the champion !!!!

If you realy are that worried about fuel economy I have a nice big outboard you could strap on your boat .

HIGH PERFORMANCE THROTTLE CABLE on the propless boat by jetboatperformance, yeah baby !! Tom

I do believe the HIGH PERFORMANCE THROTTLE CABLE by jetboatperformance added at least 10 mph to the mighty FORD !!!!

thanks again Tom for getting it to me in time to make the big race.  ;)

The first annual SoCal Jet Boats ( Fresno chapter ) national championship boat drags were held at Pine Flat lake today !!

The tension has been high around here lately to uphold the honor of the mighty FORD legacy and put that Jetaholic (chevy owner) in his place ( second place ) , and to be honest I wasnt sure if my old Jacuzzii pump would be up to the task  :-\ .  But it was not a problem  ;D .  He (jetaholic) must have heard the mighty BBF fire up this morning from his house and got scared, because he showed up without his boat  ::) !!

So, as I was the only entry that showed up I AM THE WINNER!!!!!!! ;D ;D And the Mighty BBF was the fastest boat on the water !!

Shame on Jetaholic, letting down all the chevy fans out there ! But I did tell him to bring his "A game" or stay on the trailer, so I guess Jetaholic's Chevy just dosnt have an "A game".  ;) ;D

I would like to thank all my sponsers and all the people that helped me to win this championship ,  without all of you it would not have been possible

The championship winning boat in action !!!

Thats no fair though I think your boat is cleaner than mine.

Umm , No ! This thing is nasty !!!! That dirt on the left side of the hull is not dirt and it does not wash off !  I had to wet sand the right side and polish it to get it off  >:( . Looks like years and years of no love  :'( .

Also, I think your hull is a much better  / stronger starting point than mine and It looks pretty good to me.  And you got seats !  I dont have any of those  :( , one more thing on my list .  ;D

SLCKREG ' s Daytona project, we're like twins almost  ::)http://www.socaljetboats.com/index.php/topic,1874.msg24497.html#msg24497

Only if your new valve covers can stand up to your valve train beatin' the shit out of 'em. Judging by the oval logo on them I'm betting that's a no.

::) Some children never learn !  But dont worry guys I will take him under my wing and teach him the true meaning of FORD !!!  ;D

That is some funny shit right there being Jim Brock told me Friday that it was a go and he has it all set-up. On that same note he told me that Terry would be ready to run.

Well I still dont understand what it's problem was, just sat to long I guess  ???. But every thing is ok now. I removed each lifter one at a time and pulled them apart/cleaned them and put them back in, set the valves , and no problems  :). So I put the new (to me) T ram on it and it fired right up today and sounds great !!!  I just hope this nice weather lasts a little longer so I can take to the lake and send that Cheby powered jetaholic back to the trailer with his tail between his legs !! :o  ;) ;D
