i know Brad posted on here once before about that same thing and had a couple of pics, just need to find it
. I am getting ready to do mine and am not worried about it, seeing as from what I read, just dont go to far on the nozzel


But to let you know what I have been doing.... Just before my first trip this season to Blythe, I had about 4 gallons in each of fuel in my tanks (10 gal tanks) I put half a bottle of octane booster in each tank, toped it off with prremium gas, and when I dropped her in, she fired right up, with NO hiccups at all, and ran tits. I have been doing this every season actually, and I dont use race gas. You having race gas, I think, You are at an advantage to use it. I definately see your point, that it is NOT your boat.
