A few things done, I did get the blinker indicators, and high beam indicator to work after pulling the dash apart. Took the steering column apart also to get the blinker to turn off when you turned the wheel the other way. Got me a cheapy harbor freight plastic welder and welded the door panel that was about half cracked, now the rear bumper will be my next target with the welder. That shit works good! Replaced the broken door handle, and put in a new door lock. Fixed the pad on top of the door panel ( 2 of the plastic studs were broke} Replaced both the lower window wipes, Put in a foam sound barrier between the door and panel, ( the one that was there was missing) Re-glued the carpet and some plastic parts on the door panel, and then painted. Whew

Hey 1972, you got a buddy named Chris ???

1919
I'm not real familiar with the Blythe area, but MacIntyre park has a really nice launch ramp, you launch into a nice little lagoon area, no current to deal with. The water in that area seems shallow, especially if you google map it  :o  But like any  other stretch of the river, keep your eyes open, read the water and you'll be golden. There's no reason not to take a jet boat there, if you go North of the 10 FWY, you're on your own, maybe Tony can pop in about the water up that way?
Ya going under the 10 up river was a bit scary, especially since it was my first time. The sand bars, the logs, the sand bars, and did I mention the sand bars :o :o :o, hell we even did a float in the middle of the river, where we wernt in the boats but standing on the sandbar holding onto the boats, the kids had a blast tho    Going downriver was awesome, nothing to worry about really, just my .02 for a newbie there

That was frickin hilarious  :thumbup:Reminds me of the time I was working on my 70 firebird, had a fiberglass hood on it so i used a stick to hold the hood up. Was working on it while it was running, and reached across to make an adjustment, and so happened to lay my arm across the Mallory High voltage coil :screwy: Shocked the living crap outta me, and as I jolted up, hit my head on the hood, and of course knocked the stick out, I am now stuck under the hodd with the motor still running :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:    Thread jack over ;D
