I can neither confirm nor deny my presence at said unofficial SCJB event at this time.  I will retract to my previous statement "Senator, I do not recall........." .  >:D

Lord I wish Moo was running right now...to make Tony regret buying lawn maintenance equipment ;D...I will say this tho! Were I married, the reason for the divorce would be blamed on Jimmy and Danny boy....... :banghead:

Just buy the fugger John! Pats got a smokin deal on it, sell the momo and keep all the marine hardware for your 455. Unless the heads are the ultra rare 421 SD units that is........Then Look out for John guys!

I picked up a Vertex awhile back as well. Eventually for Pickles new momo. Many types out there, but all good advice so far. One thing they haven't mentioned is in using one, takes a lot of starter to get the engine to fire.......

Well, honestly, if you can't tell the difference between an 6-71 and an 8-71 blower, you need to send it over here before you hurt yourself with it.......... >:D

J/K!!!! You need to send it over so I can ID it for ya......... >:D

Post some pics. Be pretty easy to tell ya what you got. Holley ID not really that important since you wanna replace them anyway, link I used a lot no longer there. PM GTjets, he can tell you what you got.

But I would just put a call in to Quickfuel. Tell them what you got as far as engine, rpm, blower size (We can help ya with that), what pulleys you have on it (Stamped on the blower pulleys) and they can set you up with a bitchen pair of boost referenced carbs no problem.

Then send your old carbs over and I'll ID them when I get to it......... :sly:

LOL. I'll drop John a PM about the momo. X2 on the scraps and bath caulk!

I really don't know what to think "aboot" that intake, on a serious note. Hopefully someone will chime in. I've got 6 in boats and 4 others laying around, and with the exception of the twin jet's intakes and 1 Sanger intake, they are all identical. Weird for sure..... :screwy:  Maybe an attempt at a JE style JC layout???

Just promise me if the "W" picks up this time, lets play it safe this time and wait it out. I think you guys lucked out...things coulda got REAL ugly REAL quick in those conditions. Things calmed down as expected. There was no reason to rush back to the ramp in that mess. We dont need "free fatbottom (or pickle) part 2".

;D     Makes for a great story though! Funniest part was, Nordie wanted to drive, so I said OK, but why. he said, "you make me nervous" . After we got back in the second time, I said "I make YOU nervous!!" LMAO.

Need to poke Rivermamma for the pics from Monday though, much better day out there!  Mighta been the last time Pickle sees that lake though. Just not built for that sort of shenannigans.

Have fun and be safe out there guys! Take lots of pics!

Shhhhhh! We have canadians on board now....... ;D

You're gonna make Glasscutter cry over that Poncho motor, complete and everything, you know........ ;)

Looks like a lot of fun! I'd offer to help on the fiberglass but, 1) I suck at it, 2) I don't like doing it, and 3) I've got what seems like 3 acres of it to do already..... :screwy:     Still looks like a worthwhile project!

If that intake is rare enough to have YOU stumped, I would have to assume the correct transom adaptor for it would be impossible to find........ :sly:

Single Dad... The she who does the laundry is 9. I'd like to see her try to kick my ass, lol. Honestly it is a tight fit in the garage but not quite as bad as it looks.

LOL! Same boat here, but my 13 year old cannot figure out that thing or the dishwasher. I think I posted pics of what happened when she did run the dishwasher once,  classic! As my mom says, "With Becca's personality, we can hope she marries well....." . I'm not sure what to think about that, coming from her grandmother...... :screwy:

Looks a lot like Nordies boat, and I love Nordies boat. You should have a very good handling boat there!

Omar would be the definitive source here, but MAN that looks identical to my Saguaro!! (Made from the original Roy Biesemeyer molds). Omar had one as well. Should handle just about anything, but circle racing, according to Omar! Good score!
