Boats For Sale / Re: killer deal?
« on: March 11, 2008, 10:01:51 AM »
When I sell the motor out of my boat I will sell to only some one that comes down here to River or I will go to Lake near Riverside to test  Ca they pay for gas, That way I can drawn the blood from there eye balls then they give me a tare down fee pay for gaskets oil etc I will run leak down and they can see oil pressure when motor is running . If When I pull rocker covers it should look like new rollers ,new springs pressure checked on motor, cam lift checked with dial ind, At that time spec given .
. Then tare down fee plus labor If buyer wants will exchange heads Oval rec custom built,  or large Oval or Square Port.MY heads built by me in my shop. Deg pictures taken at time New owner to sine buyer statement , That he has tested motor and motor is what was said to be. That is the way to sell a motor. In my shop for tare down. 454 Chev in Sanger flat bottom. Soon to be BBF ;D

I was going to put super trapps in my transom bells  but they hit turn buckle and hit plate bar, now I am going put them in crack pipes the same as my old 427 Fe had in them walk quite and carry a big stick.       I think super trapps in bells this would stop any back wash. And helps in tune up

DESECRATING A CHEV BY RUNNING A FORD PART TO MAKE YOUR CHEV START.... FOR THOSE OUT THERE WHO WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW TO WIRE A SOLENOID THE RIGHEIOUS WAY LIFT THE HOOD ON A FORD CAR OR TRUCK YOU WILL SEE THE POWER SIDE HAS THE BATTERY SIDE ON ONE SIDE AND OTHER SIDE IS THE STARTER SIDE SEPARATION OF POWER FORD HAS WIRED THERE CARS AND TRUCKS THIS WAY FOR OVER 60 YEARS. YOU CAN WIRE YOU STARTER WITH ONE CABLE GOING TO STARTER WITH JUMPER WIRE AT STARTER TO ENERGIZE STARTER NO POWER AT STARTER EXCEPT WHEN SOLENOID IS ENGAGED NO EXTRA WIRE RUNNING TO STARTER. MY CHEV IS WIRED LIKE A CHEV I DON'T DESECRATE A FORD PART TO MAKE MY CHEV START IN MY FLAT BOTTOM IT STARTS WITH ONE PUSH OF STARTER BUTTON. I CAN TURN MOTOR OVER AND NOT START IT MAKE SURE IT IS NOT STARTED DRY OR WET . BOAT MOTORS SET LONG TIME WITH OUT RUNNING I LIKE TO TURN MINE OVER SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE I START IT. I START MINE IN GEAR FIRE AND GO SKIERS IN TOW .

COME ON YOU FORD GUYS LETS CALL THESE GUYS ON THIS ??????????

Safety chains I was stop ed once and the officer looked my trailer over was going a little over speed limit he looked at safety chain and told ME I can write you a ticket for that safety chain I said why it was 1/2 trucker HI/ten chain he said OK be smart take trailer lose from truck he said now leave safety chain on if you trailer hits ground it is not legal. I drop ed trailer and chain held it up he told me at that time I should think about putting two chains on trailer in a cross form  so that way trailer if it were to come lose it would be supported in the cross of the chains and would never hit ground if done so trailer would stay with tow vehicle till you stop. One of my boy friends lost a boat  trailer and killed some people hit them head on (two chains crossed under trailer tongue is best
