Made a little progress today. Removed the dried out side supports and the piece that seperates the bilge and cleaned up the rough stuff left behind. Still more prep before i install the new wood.

Ive got a set of basset headers that have a little rust on them. They are currently chrome/rust  and i want them black. Wheres a good place to get them coated? Or should i just clean up the rust and hit them with some black high heat paint? And if so could you recommend a particular brand.
Thanks, ryan

Cool thank you, I'm lookn for another project in better shape than the one I've got now and yours fits the bill for sure. Because there isn't very many jets here in Missouri,  if you still have it for about another month or so, I'll give you a call.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using SoCalJetBoats mobile app

1977 Charger for sale less motor. Its a full stringer boat, It just looks like it has taller 6" stringers and they drop down to 4" and run the rest of the length. I was told this particular bottom is a splash off of a Liberty and can run pretty good. Has a berkeley "E" pump with ride plate. Its set up for a BBC and comes with a 3 point mount with top mount starter. The mounts are still bolted to the stringers so all you would have to do is bolt up the bell housing and the other hardware to your BBC and drop it in. All of the wiring and plumbing is there. It has 2 aluminum saddle tanks that look like they are pretty good size. The interior is in good shape and the seats have no tears or anything. Has a floor mount pedal, it could use a throttle cable but the one in it still works. It has a steering rack and the cables look like they are in good shape. The trailer could use some work around the fenders and steps and could probably use some bunks or just clean up the ones that are there. One of the tires came apart so it has a spare on it now, I have the matching wheel its just missing the hub cap and needs a tire... Overall its a pretty clean boat and you need is a motor. The deck and all the glass is really solid and in good shape.
Im asking $1800 obo
Thanks for looking and if your interested give ryan a call at 760 nine six four 4235

Jet Pumps / Re: Name that intake!
« on: December 17, 2013, 04:47:38 PM »
And if you didn't know, the Jacuzzi YJ intake is wider than the Berkeley intake.  So if it's going to be changed it will require some glass work to fit.
Thanks ill let him know. I dont think hes gonna put any big horsepower to it so im pretty sure hell just run a jacuzzi pump.
