Stupid question number one.....
For a jet?I have a ten quart pan from the race motor, but I think it is deeper than the typical jet pan...I can measure if needed, in fact I'll try to get a picture of it.

Want to buy a BBC mk IV 10qt pan. With pickup, windage tray. Preferring a pan that the windage tray bolts into. Not the one that the windage tray bolts onto main caps. Please reply with brand of pan, condition of pan, condition of parts, price, and possibly pics. Thanks.

What part of the lake do you want to camp at? Do you want to camp south by Katherines? Or further north? If you stay south by katherines there is one cove called telephone cove nv side, you can access it with 4x4 but it is by no means "private". A lot of people go there. As far as the az side by katherines I don't know of any that you can drive down to and camp. I have seen people on quads and trucks at some coves on the az side but have no idea how they got there. There are quad and dirtbike trails that lead everywhere out there. In September lake mohave shouldn't be too bad, just have to watch out for the monsoons that pop up in the afternoons. They will make it like the deadliest catch out there.

Thanks Barry. But is it normal when you install these conversion kits to have to totally start over with the timing. I mean it wouldnt move the rotor, cap, teeth on cam or anything. I mean I don't see how it could mess up the timing. But I don't know that much about that stuff.

gonna pick your brains with a stupid question.i dont claim to know anything about distributors or what goes on inside them. i am running a mallory points distributor, part number YL624AV2. i want to put a conversion kit (points to electronic) in it. which one of the following will work on my dist. and how simple of a task is this? thanks.

When I had a 455 olds in my boat I had it plumbed like this.
From the jet to an open T then from the T to the fitting on the logs then out the other fitting on the logs to the inlet on your water pump cover. Then out the thermostat housing to the fitting on the snails.

Im not an iPhone owner anymore but when I did have it I have dropped it many time and nothing ever happened. But then I must I have dropped it one too many times and like you said it hit just right that it broke something inside of the phone and it wouldn't read the sim card anymore. Still works as an ipod though.
