i think there is one. That says that you cant go more than 35 mph by anyone that is in the water. also speed runs by the sandbar. I think it also said something like 60 or 90 feet away.

Where's the law that states you can't do 90 mph on the river? There isn't one. There shouldn't be one. There will be one put in place, eventually, due to ignorance of other people's safety because of incidents just like this one.
Now here's the real question: Who wants a speed limit on the river?
