Jet Pumps / Re: Place diverter piston
« on: June 15, 2010, 08:57:08 PM »
What's wrong with the one you have? Simply a hydraulic cylinder that, hone/polish the inside a bit, repack the piston and gland, should be GTG? Simple Bennett cylinder. If that's an issue, I be willing to bet any John Deere dealer could help with the packings and gland material.......... ;)

Should work, but I'd probably go with 1 o/b dump instead of two, leave the plug alone and run the other through the headers and regulate with a ball or gate valve of the pump.

Trashy headers though, who cares? if they blue they blue. I think you're fine to try it, I just dunno if you;re gonna get enough water pressure to open up the T Valve to the headers.

(I have ruined a perfectly new set of Rewarders on Moo due to water issues on her maiden voyage, and still they remain on there as testament).

Boat people is da coolest!

Guy approached me in the parking lot the day my Beezer burned and sank and asked if I wanted the video of it his daughter shot. he couldn't email it, too big, so he mailed me a DVD!

I mailed him back a $50 Applebee's gift card, thought it was real generous of him!

Plenty around, but theres a lil shop a couple doors down from my lil brother's machine shop in Tempe that makes custom ones. I'll text him for the number if I can't find the card in the truck. He wanted to do one for the Moo, but just no way to secure one on that thing when down, and looks rediculous on it....... :screwy:

I'm with Nordie on this as well! Actually, I'm amazed Glasscutter hasn't seen this yet!  ;) We've been talking about a poncho build for some time!

If ya get it, get me the casting numbers on the heads, etc. Definately interested in all the hardware for it, maybe the entire engine carb to pan.

They have grilles right in the middle of the resort. Don't remember if gas or propane tho. No need to bring a grille, I can pony up for some charcoal and fluid though!

Bringin a couple Messican buds along as well, maybe some carne asada and home made accessories would be in order?

Try PMing Jim Brock or Ralph, they seem to have them from time to time. Riverdad would be a good source as well. Seems to me I got one from him once.

Also try Skip (Luckystiff) and Ralph. They seem to trip across some treasure chests from time to time.

Speaking of those two, hell musta froze over and this whole 2012 thing must be for real! Skips got a 460 in his garage and Ralphs got a Chebbie!

I have 3 of them, actually, one on the JC in the saguaro (That's getting a JG anyway), one from the JB's original nozzle and the one from Moo's original JE nozzle. They will NOT work on a Place Diverter. They have their own. But all three are a lil bit different, although the one from the JB and the JC look close and will probably interchange. I'll take some pics tomorrow morning, too late now and I just got home,

« on: June 13, 2010, 10:50:29 PM »
In seeing how my 26' was done, doesn't look so complicated, but you do have to plan for restoring the rigidity back into the hull. Mine was done professionally. Chromey's was done as well, but dunno how professional it was. I'd be leaving it for the pros if it were me.

LMFAO !!!        You posted that pic 25 minutes ago and I'm the first one to look at it.    That is classic Czech engineering there, right down to the rubber band return aid on the brakes.  Gotta luv it.    I so would have wanted to be in the room when the engineer tells the production manager, "Yeah we are gonna hold the petrol tank on with a leather belt"   :o         Thanks for posting.

He's gonna tell me to STFU, but again, I warned ya!!! ;D

You're probably gonna be ridden about this as bad as Flytime is since  he sold his Jet Boat..........Just sayin'   ::)

BTW, did find a nice Charger, I own one I haven't seen yet, lol. Told only you and Flytime about it here locally.(Now everyone knows) Other than the engine, and price, could be a smokin boat! I imagine the guy could be talked down a LOT!!!

Ray I want you to know that I tried really really really really hard but . . .

Hey MxDog, he is a real nice guy who has too many boats.  I KNOW Ray would make you a smokin' deal on his Beezer .

YEAH! All streamlined up, all the unnecessaries removed, just needs a little drying off, might still include a hydraulic Place Diverter, one HOT boat, Turqouise metalflake on the bottom, flames on top,............. :screwy:

Ray

Good luck on your search, I'll keep an eye out for ya MXDog!  ;)
