Yeah, it depends on whether you're sold on the boat and how well you like it. I agree you can do better, all a matter of time looking is all.
No matter what boat you buy, you're gonna wind up with more money in it than it's worth, so might as well get something YOU like.
I paid right around that for my old Beezer, probably in similar condition last year. And we all know what happened to THAT investment......

Yeah, thats the one! There was another one also, with blue and woodgrain on it. 60 is very possible if the equipment he has on it is accurate..
Can't do Saturday, but before you go, crawl under it and look for cracks on the inner side of the strakes, then jump up and down on the floors, particularly in the back. If that checks out, take it to UnPleasant and drive it like you stole it......
Oh, and take pictures! Even if some of this doesn't pan out, the boat is probably still worth the money.

Skip has me worried a lil! I may have been smart, maybe not. When Cin and I bought the house, I needed an insurance binder so the broker got me in with his bud at State Farm. Ended up putting my car insurance as well as all the riders on my policies for all the guns, etc.
Getting into boats, they first said no way on Moo, so all I said was, fine, then, I'll take all my business to someone that will.
They took pictures, I had the agent SIGN pictures I keep in a file here, and they agreed to cover them. Everytime I bought another one, I printed a picture, stopped by, and had them sign it..........
500 years from now those pictures are gonna turn up in a dig and they're gonna hail Hortencia Reyes who musta been the greatest boat racer ever.......

Second, I would start looking HARD in September, near the end of the "season" (My season is 365, but most aren't). That's when the deals start really appearing normally. Although I have found smoking deals recently, Brad's got another one that caught my eye.........I need rehab, seriously......

Seriously, though, it went down like this. I hadda transfer Moo and the Sewer Pickle, they were out of date, and figured I might as well do the rest of 'em. So I went with a folder full of titles, regs, etc and transferred 5 boats. One with no title or nothing. After all that (A grand total of about 15-20 minutes, really), I'm looking through the Reg #'s. Pickles and the Saguaro's were the same, both native Arizona boats, when I got to Moo's, I laughed and said "No freaking way"........Girl behind the counter asked "what?" so I showed her......after a few seconds she was blushing and said something like "OMG, I'm sorry, do you want me to change this?" I was like "Oh HELL NO!, I could come back there and kiss you, you don't understand the boat this is for!"........

I loved my Biesemeyer 21'. Solidly built, Roomy, plenty of seating. Was easy to drive and chop/wakes didn't affect it at all! Had actually bought it's replacement, same 21' Biesemeyer, but had it sold before I got it home. Didn't find another, so in true SCJB form, I buy a 26' "SS Minnow"........
Post some pics up, but I think I know which one you're buying, I've been posting that around here a bit.
You'll love that Bieser! But particular to them, check for soft spots on the floor, particularly near the rear jump seats. 2 Biesers and one Sleek I looked at last summer had cracks clear through the hull right about midship along the inner strakes. just something to look at/for while it's on the trailer. You're fairly local, I found OC2's engine in your hood actually, I don't mind looking at it with you.

Could well be. Take it to the dealer and see bro. All they can tell you is yes or no. If yes, you're golden, if no, well, yeah look at Sam's post as to how to do it. Really not to bad to do. When I did it it was like 5 degress outside and I was doing it in the old mans driveway.
The pump/sender/etc etc is all one deal that comes out together. It's all held in place pretty much the same as a garbage disposal is in the kitchen sink in your house. Use a brass rod and a hammer to unlock the ring though, don't want no sparks........

You also have to consider that we have little demand on the alternator. No lights, brake/turnsignals, etc. Kickass stereo in some cases, but other than the ignition system and guages, no draw. Consider the rpms we run at, yeah, reduce it to the rediculous.....

I just emailed the old man about this. We had exactly the same thing on his old Van with a 4.3 Vortec a few years ago, and I'm struggling to remember the whole week long ordeal.
While I was back there, I was voted to figure it out.
Immediately thought injectors, but that wasn't it. (Bigger problem in the northeast in the winter, beleive me, fugger would drag the battery down but QUICK).
As I recall there was an electronic valve, I'm still searching the internet for what it is/was, that was in the rear of the intake manifold that I changed out. Still wasn't the problem, but in doing this we found a wiring problem with that valves harness and plug. Cut the wires and crimped in some new Molex connectors, That fixed it then.
Did the same thing a few months later, and as already pointed out, was the in tank fuel pump.
