Man that place has changed a lot since i was a kid. I havent been down there in years but im trying to change that here soon lol. That trailer is the old owners. His name was Mike, I dont if he is still around but im pretty sure that is his old house. There also was a big guy named Bob that ran the park, but i dont know if he is still around either. Here is a pic of my dads 19' Daytona at McIntyre. This pic is from 1979.

Ive never heard them called 180* headers. Bassett calls them OT headers and ive heard them called up and overs but i call them twice pipes.

I was at the launch ramp when the 23' warlock was towed in by seatow and they said that the boat did infact sink. They had floties holding it up and a make shift bilge running also. As far as damage to the boat the tramsom had a big hole in it,the motor broke off the stringers and was sideways in the bilge area,engine hatch was broke off and the drivers seat was totally broke off and came out of the boat with the driver. A SDPD officer was there but he really wouldnt tell me much. The only thing i could get out of him was that the driver was ejected from the boat upon impact and the passenger was in the hospital. I asked if liquor was involved and he said he didnt know. But like what was said in the other posts above me, FLOCKERS NEED TO PAY ATTENTION AND NOT DRINK SO DAMN MUCH ON THE LAKE. Sorry for yelling.

That is the original Berkeley style jetavator but ive never seen that trim box before. The ones that i have messed with are a little smaller and white with a Berkeley sticker on it, but still use a rear window motor out a 80's suburban. That jetovator works by moving the steering tube back and forth. Like someone else said it works but not as well as a place/turbine set up.
