The No Wake Zone / Joke for today...
« on: October 29, 2009, 04:29:36 PM »
Barack Obama was out jogging one morning when he tripped, fell over the bridge railing and landed in the creek below.   Before the secret service guys could get to him, 3 kids fishing pulled him out of the water. He was so grateful he offered the kids whatever they wanted.    The first kid said, I want to go to Disneyland. Barack said no probelm, I'll take you there on my special airplane.    The second kid said I want a new pair of Nike Jordan shoes.  Barack said I'll get them for you and even have Michael Jordan sign them for you.    The third kid said I want a motorized wheelchair  with a built in TV and a stereo headset, with ipod.  Barack was a little perplexed by this and said, But you dont look like you're handicapped.   The kid said, I will be after my dad finds out I saved your ass from drowning!   :D :D :D

Too funny Josh...  At Moabi in June coming back from the sandbar and was getting pissed with so many freaking boats, it was like a fricking ocean.... get past a bunch and get on it... finally some clean water... well I guess I was going a little too fast for my bimini being up, not the stainless fittinings I had on the other one, but plastic ones... needless to say the next thing we hear is BAMMMMM!!!!!!!!  and the bimini is floating in the river :banghead: :banghead: I was so pissed I said F- it and my brother said lets go back and get it, so wwe did, by the time I turned around it was rolling along at the bottom of the river :banghead:  Got along side of it where I could see it and my Bro dived in and  actually retrieved it, saved me a bunch of cash actually :sly:

Engine Mechanical / Electrical / Re: running motor out of the water
« on: October 20, 2009, 05:46:42 PM »
This is how I did it, others here will have different ideas or ways of doing it or why they take the shaft out. A real pain in the ass for me, this works well for me, and have used it this way for quite some time now. I used all stainless pipe fittings and brass also. I extended the pipe from the pump to make it easier to get the hose on. The first ball valve is there if ya need to regulate the water to your engine, or if ya blow a hose you can shut it off and limp home. The second ball valve on top of the tee is so when I am working on my boat alone as usual, I can shut it off, turn the water on, get in the boat start it and then turn it on, no running back and forth. Also have a cap on top of the hose fitting as you can see.  Just my .02

I put a tee on the line coming out of the pump going to the engine, has a hose fitting on it also. Hook the hose up, turn it on, and I have water going to both ;)

A Tennessee couple Dave and Rebeca, both bona fide rednecks, had nine children.  They went to the doctor to see about getting Dave "fixed". The doctor gladly started the required procedure and asked them what finally made them make the decision. Why, after 9 children, would they choose to do this?  Dave replied that they had read in a recent article that 1 out of every 10 children being born in the United States was Mexican, and they didn't want to take a chance on having a Mexican baby because neither of them could speak spanish.    ;D ;D ;D
