Check out "BMX bandits", "meatballs 3" and the old Elvis movie "Clambake" for more flatty's in movies. "Madison is another cool movie based on an old unlimited Hydro racing team.

There's someone currently trying to sell a script to Hollywood with a ton of boatracing in it.

One of my managers, who's been into boats since he was a kid in Oregon. Rode on a couple of my boats, don't think he's ever been on Moo, but was showing me today some guy building Gas Turbine jet boats (Cool as hell). Then I showed him yours on this thread! I think he had the same reaction Beerjet did!

Be proud of that thing! THAT is a work of art! (I'm partial to metalflake these days.........)

Ray

Thanks Ray!  ;D

That thing is INSANE.

You mentioned Mike Peasley doing the trailer. Is he at Kustom Trailers in Rancho?

No. Peasley works from his home in victorville. He's an unbelievably talented fabricator.

Lake Mead / Re: Free Flatbottom
« on: March 16, 2010, 08:02:36 PM »
That boat will be a soggy piece of delaminated shit. The engine will be rusted out junk. Maybe you can salvage the v-drive but that isn't too likely either... It's also illegal to take anything out of Lake Mead (that's what Greg from vesseil assist told me).

The ride was brief because the down pedal was falling off. lol

I'll get some better seat time on the next trip.

Both, it's kind of a show but boats will be running as well.  i don't think they allow side by side racing, but it will be a cool event.

This is a pic of from the last regatta. This is the area by the launch ramp.

If the water is still high enough I'm sure they'll use this area again.

so is it a boat show? or just hang out and look at shizz on the trailers? i can do that at home ...? just sayin

You can look at 100 trailered jet boats sitting at home? Where do you live? lol

I guess it's safe to say that CHROMEY lives a sheltered life... lol

Come on out and see some action. Or,,,, bring a boat and be part of the action (unless you want to spend $100 to stay on the trailer. :screwy:)

Lake Mead / Re: Free Flatbottom
« on: July 19, 2009, 03:42:17 PM »
I wouldnt worry about it being covered again. Mead always lets out more water then it takes in  :screwy:

All right genius, then how did the spillways over flow in 1983?  :screwy:

In doesn't really matter anyway since the boat will continue to rot right where it sits.
