There's some pretty cool spots here on the TN river where you can put in and anchor up, kick back a little ways off the dock and listen to live bands and in joy the southern stars. some nice coves to hide in with the ole lady to!

The boats in my buddys shop, I'm going over there today. I'm gonna pull the seats out so I can get at the bulk head and get a good look I'll take some good pics then. Do those suction cup deals stay in place when you bouncing around? Thanks for the reply's.

I need to install the navigation lights in the bow of my southwind. There is a bulk head under the dash with speakers and amps mounted on it. If I drop that bulk head will I be able to crawl in there to get at the bow to run the wires?

 I don't have a enuff room for a boat in my shop, so my boats been out side :-[ under a cover but still that sucks! My buddy offered to let me keep her in his shop and didn't even ask for key!  Man what a pal. boats happily sleeping in a heated shop now ;D

Working a deal with another member for some basset's, if that goes thru I'll be looking to sell these. square port bbc. the right side log had a split in the water jacket on the  bottom, I had it tigged up last night and I will put the boat in water for a leak test the first warm day we get. Make offer and you pay for the trip.

My boat is a 1979 Southwind 18, My wife want a top and I kinda think it would be a good thing ( I sun burn in a full moon) But here's the thing, My boat is super clean and the thought of drilling holes in it scares the crap out of me! Will it lower the value of the boat?

 Can you flip a set of car headers over and run um dry? bbc yea I know it will be loud, I was thinking bolt on a set of those short 4' dia. race mufflers and let um talk. what I want to know is will the flanges line up?

Thanks for the warm welcome, From what I was told this boat has been garage kept its hole life and it looks like it. the motor is a 454 with square port corvette heads, 550 lift cam, old school torker intake with a 750 holley. Took it out last week end and it ran 68mph (GPS) at 5000rpm. here's a few more pics

Hello, Greetings from TN. New to the jet boat world as I traded my drag bike for a 1979 Southwind 18 with a 454 chevy. Love this boat! Looking forward to leaning from and hanging out on the web with yall. PEACE
