Im here in Laughlin and started drink in at 7 am yesterday and have maintained a good buzz the whole time! Started with Mamosas and switched to Tokyo Tea! Woooooooohooooooo, thank god im not driving!

Elsinore would be good, this is the last weekend (Sunday actually) for free boat launch. If you have never been there before, there is a cove on the otherside where everybody hangs out and is pretty family friendly. La Laguna is the ramp you want to use for the free launch if you go on sunday, after this weekend, fees will be going back to the standard $20. I went to ElCapitan a couple months ago down in San Diego and it was gorgeous, you could see through the water (compared to Elsinore) and was pretty calm. I like Elsinore because it is convenient.

My first craigslist boat was a pile! Took the sellers word on condition and found out stuff the hard way. I even went on a test run and just by the way they drove the boat, I should of steered away. It was an open bow 21 and after 30 min of easy run time, the motor let go. I paid 7K for it and put probably another 7K into it. It was a fun family boat after that but I did learn my craiglist lesson. I think the key is to hang out with alot of people and buy a boat that you are somewhat familiar with and know how its been treated! If I was in the market, I sure as hell would check here on scjb first before going to craigslist!

I guess I was just really un lucky with 2 brand new fuel pumps. Both Carters would not build over 3 psi out of the box. The new Holley works just fine but still going to test it out tomorrow mornin at sunrise. Providing all goes well, I will head back to the house and pick up the fam and spend the rest of the day out there!

I was using an electric Carter non regulated, it had a 4-6 psi preset pressure. I just got my Holley last night and will be working on installing it tonight. I will head out to Elsinore at sunrise on sunday.

Your not mistaken, im the guy with issues lol. I think I should be good this time, I should have the red Holley tomorrow, I will just have to change the mounting and re do the wires cause it is different from the Carter that I had. I was trying to keep it real simple by just changing it out with the same pump but after 2 brand new pumps, the first not building over 3 psi and the 2nd being anywhere from 2 to 5 psi, im done. I want to be right around 6.5 psi to be able to feed those damn thirsty carbs.
