I agree if you need something that big and comfortable go for the I/O we had an 21 foot open bow 87 Sanger with an I/O it was a rare boat not as big as what your looking at but my daughters are 8 and 6 and we had that boat for 4 seasons and they loved it so did the wife and it had a
SB 350 with a Alpha 1 i/O easy maintenance it had two 20 gallon tanks and we went all weekend all over the place on  2 tanks of gas.

Hoping we will be able to do this trip, it will be my first trip with you guys and my second jet boat in 22 years feels good to have one agian.

Never owned one but father in law won't stop talking about them... May be the nostalgia talking. From what I've seen, well built and sought after hulls
