The reason is because your engine has too much block pressure most likely from your pump

Pcv is a devise used to suck out fumes at idle. A good set up if you have a hatch an could run a breather with a hose vent on the other side to arrester. If you have an open motor...not really needed. You could close up the rear hole and add a front then run lines to a puke tank. You could also get bolt on breathers and choke them a bit inside. Check and see if your covers have the splash guard underneath vent.  If not you can either buy them or make em.  Make sure you have a good oil and a bit lower than max. Some oils will foam up...  I like VR1 and not just because of the zinc.

Going to tell you straight up.

Pull the valve covers and check to see if the have a baffle box in them. Shitcan the breathers you have and plug that port on the base of the carb.

If the valve cover do not have a baffle box, you will be fighting this problem pretty hard, if they do, I would purchase a pair of MOPAR style breathers and install two fittings under the scoop to run the hose from the breathers to the scoop, this will pull the smokey crankcase pressure into the carburetor.

As for the PCV valve on that deal, it is not hurting anything, but only working at a closed throttle idle...

Is it normal to have some oil come out of the breather?  In my case the oil is getting all over the valve covers and the block and headers it's getting everywhere lol and starting to bug me the motor runs amazing tho no knocking no ticking starts strong and fast gets up a goes quick so is this something I should worry about or just keep adding oil every time I take it out? Could it be I possibly have shitty valve cover vents?  Need help!!?  I really don't wanna rebuild but I'm getting the feeling I'm going to have to?

Yeah the guy that had the boat before me had some pretty janky stuff going on with the electrical I'm having a feeling I'm gonna have to end up reworking all the wiring in the boat.. Even tho I don't that that's a bad idea.. But I'll check into that first hopefully that's it. thanks!

We'll to start off I'm a newb to the jet boat community and the forum I just bought a 76 21' Tahiti with a 460 and it has a stock exhaust (logs and snails thru transom ) I love the look of OT headers if I were to get a set... (witch will be water injected) how do I go about tuning the carb? For the headers.. Or do I even need to? And.... How should I go about plugging the holes from the old exhaust? Without having to refiberglass and fill the holes...?.
