$350 block has less then 4 hrs on it still has hone mark on cylinder walljust bare block or with pistons, crank etc?

Depending on what all else you plan, your best bet would be to stick with 112° lobe separation and mild lift with longest possible duration.ok cool. Thanks alot for the help.! I love this site. Filled with people willing to give newbies advice and point people in the right direction such as myself.
I really like the Comp Cams Xtreme Marine XM270H for situations such as yours. It's a proven off the shelf stick with a pretty good track record.
