Skip white performance have a 496 rotating assembly kit for around 1200 depends on what comp ratio you want to run. Comes with scat crank and rods and you pick the Pistons.

Can someone give me some info on challenger jet boats. I just pick up a 77 and dropped my motor in it. The hull seems solid. Any info would be great.

Sooooo I took my boat out and the water turned rough and on my way back to ramp I hit a wake hard and put a big crack in the hull. So I am removing the pump tomorrow and sell it complete. It is a berk 12jca with polished split bowl and adjustable ride plate and the guy I got the boat from said the impeller was a AB. I am open to offers and or trades. PM me what you have or want to offer.

Hulls / Re: sinking tx
« on: March 02, 2016, 12:31:34 PM »
I built a Rayson craft GN boat and managed to flip but when we did the build we installed foam in the bow. It was a super high density foam it was lite only about 15 pounds and we sealed off the bulkhead. The boat bobbed bow up for about 20 min until we got it towed to shore.

Everyone loves a project to follow. My buddy and I have a nice winter project and first jet boat here in New England. 1980 Sleek Craft SST Tunnel. With a Berkeley Jet.

"First jet boat in New England"? What part of New England do you live in. My entire family is from Maine and NH. I have been ridding in jet boats 20 years ago in Maine on Rangley lake.

Just those L89 or L88 winters snow flake heads complete go for three times what you paid for the entire motor. You scored.

I won enough to buy two of the spark plugs.

:(

GT
Shit at least you know how much you won, I just left the store and the machine told me " cannot determine amount please try later". I have one line with 4 numbers W/ powerball but I have 12 power ball numbers with nothing. Go figure.

Sent from my iPhone using SoCal Jet Boats

48

Yeah, totally, I'm good with that. You can even take your half first.

GT
Lol, thanks. Could you imagine 1.5 billion. If I won it I would give out 100 700+ci motors so the top 10 list would be all about boat set up and driver. Then make a tv show about it. Good times.

Not sure how you would hit the Powerball being as I just bought the winning numbers.

But whatever.    8)

GT

I don't know how you bought the winning numbers when I've been buying the wining numbers all over California this week. All 250 lines worth. So if you have the winning numbers and I have them, then I guess we just have to split 1.5 billion if that's ok with you. Lol.

The No Wake Zone / Re: Boat appraisal
« on: January 12, 2016, 11:09:41 PM »

I have USAA for all my insurance, except the boat. They sent me to Markel and they were super expensive, they never mentioned doing an appraisal though.  I am using Foremost with agreed value just like Jim and a lot of others. In my opinion it's the only way to insure boats like ours.
I also have USAA for my banking and all my vehicles insurance. I did do a set amount for total loss, I just never had any insurance company ever ask me if I had my boat appraised. Never not one of my boats.
