Never noticed that you had asked me this...sorry about that...unfortunately I just sold the boat first off and second I'm pretty sure those tanks were in mine for a long long time if not from day one. Never any signs of a bow tank ever existing on it.

Thanks. You wouldn't happen to have any pics or info from those tanks would you? I'd love to see how they were set up. Were they behind the seat upholstery, or were they all the way back, next to the engine against the side of the hull? Without putting a tape on it, I'd say there is 3 to 4 feet of length between the transom and where the interior starts for the rear seats. Since I've never had saddle/gunwale tanks, I'm not sure where the correct placement of them should be???
All the way back against the transom or mid-ship behind the interior?
I can see saddle/gunwale tanks completely changing the handling of this boat. With a full tank of gas up in the bow, you know it and slow down for big wakes. Did your boat still feel planted in the water without all that extra weight up front?
