Here it is last season with the old motor in it non-blown 427 about 600 hp we just decided that it was time to go back to a blown gas With a few more cubic inch

Does any one know of a good tweed interior manufacturer for marine I am having new covers made and my guy has not done cloth in boats has we’re having a tough time finding a marine specific cloth tweed interior any help would be appreciated

Pulling this out to make room for new power plant motor runs strong no issues it is still in the boat and is turn key( you can hear it run) currently with tunnel ram and a pair of 660 carbs and twisted headers (keeping headers) made 585@6200 on dyno we have only been running it at 5200 with a A impeller

Pretty easy check though if you can get it to start disconnect the battery and see if it dies also pretty easy to pull it out run it to the part store and have them check it alternators can be funky at times

Alternator could have a charging issue that will not keep up with your battery usage yes it will start if the alternator is not connected I had one that did that come to find out one of the wires was loose and it was intermittently charging

There are quite a few things to consider compression is just one of them I am going threw a new build now and a blower motor is very different from normally aspirated motor not saying you can't put one on it just put it out there that if it's not built right it doesn't last very long

What size are I looking for I don't know what u have in the boat but it has been my Experince that bolting a blower on a motor that is not built for a blower is not the best idea lower motors are low compression motors
